About
A plethora of powerful swordplay techniques and Eikonic abilities lie within Clive's remit—and it is up to you to decide which ones you wish to learn or upgrade. If you're having trouble choosing, upgrades can be unlocked automatically.
Story-focused mode is recommended for those players who are less comfortable with action games and wish to focus more on the game's story elements. In this mode, Clive will automatically evade some attacks, and epic Eikonic combos can be triggered with simple button presses. Action-focused mode, where Clive's every action is controlled by the player, is available for those who are confident in their skill—or want to test it.

the graphic, animation, character design, story, are all amazing. the gameplay is fun with a lot of combo to try out. the world of ffxvi is a treat for the eyes, and clive is a great protagonist, though i love joshua rosfield the most. the down side is some of the first cutscenes of the game are quite heavy and may or may not force closed the game a few times (though it's most likely caused by my lacking device). but other than that i have little complaints for this game
Jogo épico. Experiência sensacional. Muito bom mesmo!
This game is a tough one to review. I can honestly say that it is at the same time; a spectacular epic, filled with deep lore, incredible power fantasy, and memorable emotional moments; and a soulless slog through painfully boring and repetitive side quests, delivered without any care to pacing or placement. It is a great game, but it is also kind of a bad final fantasy game. You will find little to enjoy here if you are looking for RPG depth. It lacks and meaningful stat management, equipment choices, crafting, or build decisions, other than what unlocked abilities you decide to spend your ability points on. There are no "builds" here. This is an action combat RPG and it leans into that fact with a robust moveset not unlike a devil may cry entry. You don't cast spells so much as fire different colored energy bullets, and elemental affinities or weaknesses are entirely ignored. You will do just as much damage pelting a bomb with a fire bolt as you will with an ice one. The combat however, is lighting fast, and you find as your abilities grow throughout the tale that you will enter a flow state of perfectly timed dodges to unleash blistering combos of Eikon fueled death on your foes. The combat system revolves around your management of your limit gauge (which will unlock shortly into the main tale), and maintaining pressure on your opponents stagger bar. once enough pressure is applied, they will enter a weakened state, unable to fight back and taking additional damage for a time. When its time to fight the big bads, you will often be faced with Eikons. What FF16 calls its summons. These fights are without a doubt the main attraction. Summons have never felt this powerful in a FF game before and the world shaking powers they unleash as they clash brings to mind the power fantasy of unhinged shonen anime. My only gripe with the combat is one that is also pervasive throughout the rest of game, you are painfully slow when moving normally. Every step Clive takes feels as though he is trying to run in a dream, which is made even more painful by the fact that when using abilities he can bolt around faster than light like a Dragon Ball Z character. Every time I hear a character say "we have to hurry!" and then watch as Clive shuffle jogs over to the threat, raises my blood pressure. The main story is magnificent, and while the main quest areas are often just a series of escalating enemy gauntlets, they are absolutely packed with gorgeous scenery to enjoy while you beat the piss out of an army of fodder on your way to the main event. It is filled with sprawling, intricate political drama, of warring nations, and a people fighting for freedom, all while the world is inexorably consumed by an encroaching life-leaching blight. Your perspective as Clive, is intriguing, and his story is wrapped in twists and mystery. The voice acting is superb, and the script is expertly written. The many emotional moments are handled with gravitas, and the cast often feels like they have real chemistry. As awesome as this main story is you will often be left scratching your head, asking yourself why you are the only person who can solve every single one of the entire populations extremely petty menial problems. A large majority of side quests are of the fetch variety. You will often be interrupted mid conversation as "They are coming!" happens again. You keep hoping that this side quest will be interesting, but they never are. and yet, because the devs are a strange bunch, most of the best equipment and important upgrades in the game are locked behind a series of side quests. You want to get a mount so you don't have to power walk every where? Side quest. You want to upgrade your potion inventory space? Side quest. You want to get the best sword in the game before heading off to the finale? would you believe, it's 7 side quests. I almost did not make it to the end because of how disillusioned I was with the bad side quests. it does not feel like this design respects your time, and nearly every side quest feels like it was added as run time padding. As pretty as the game is to look at you will very rarely be rewarded for any exploration. Almost every chest in the game is filled with a pile of one of the games 6 meaningless crafting materials which every single quest in the game seems to spam you with anyway. TLDR This game is kind of a mess. But I also couldn't put it down. Play it for the best in class boss battles and the interesting and heartfelt story, but be prepared to suffer a bit. The satisfying combat and incredible cutscenes can't completely outweigh the slog of side quest padding. I got it on sale and I feel like it was worth it at a reduced price, but I would have been pissed to pay MSRP for this Oh, and I almost forgot. Music real good. but this is a FF game so it kind of goes without saying

I'd describe Final Fantasy XVI as a movie turned into a video game. The story is where this game truly shines. The characters are memorable, each with their own personalities, strengths, flaws, and motivations. Clive is easily the heart of the experience, and his journey carries the entire game. The Eikon battles are also spectacular, delivering some of the most epic moments the series has ever seen. Unfortunately, I can't say the same about the gameplay. The combat tries to borrow ideas from DmC and GoW but never quite understands what makes those games so satisfying. The quest design and animations feel like they were lifted from an MMO, making many interactions feel clunky and dated. The dialogue also suffers from a common JRPG problem. Outside of the cinematics, conversations rarely feel natural because every character waits for their turn to speak, even during heated arguments or while they're fighting. Instead of flowing naturally, the dialogue feels staged. It was easier to overlook years ago, but games like Expedition 33 have shown that this genre can deliver much more natural writing. I just wish the developers had put as much care into the gameplay as they did into the story. Despite all my criticism, this is still an excellent Final Fantasy, arguably stronger than Rebirth and Intergrade in terms of its protagonist. I finished the game because I genuinely wanted to see how Clive's story would end, and in that regard, it absolutely delivered.

aunque tarde años, pero sin duda es muy buen final fantasy, no es el mejor pero wooow que bueno es y que epic las batallas
This games cinimatics are some of the best i have ever seen in my life. I have never played a game where the cutscenes are so good that you don't even care about actual gameplay. This game is peak and i recommend it to anybody looking for a long story. I had mixed feelings throughout the game. Even raged a few times. But by the end credits. I realised just how great this game is. I would suggest this to anybody. The plot takes a little bit to thicken. But belive me its worth. Weither you are a hardcore fantasy nerd or a 1st timer. This games story is an absolute masterpeice. This was the 1st FF game i have ever played in my life and gosh it was worth it. I will be returning to this game in the future to play the New game + mode. But yeah. 9/10
