An epic dark fantasy where fates are decided by mighty Eikons and the Dominants who wield them. This is the tale of Clive Rosfield, a tragic warrior who swears revenge on the Dark Eikon Ifrit, a mysterious entity that leaves naught but calamity in its wake.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

About
A plethora of powerful swordplay techniques and Eikonic abilities lie within Clive's remit—and it is up to you to decide which ones you wish to learn or upgrade. If you're having trouble choosing, upgrades can be unlocked automatically.
Story-focused mode is recommended for those players who are less comfortable with action games and wish to focus more on the game's story elements. In this mode, Clive will automatically evade some attacks, and epic Eikonic combos can be triggered with simple button presses. Action-focused mode, where Clive's every action is controlled by the player, is available for those who are confident in their skill—or want to test it.

This game is very confusing to me, and it feels like its also confused about itself. To get it out of the way, yes it has very high highs. The eikon fights are amazing and are some of the coolest set pieces I have seen in video games. This goes hand in hand with the presentation and music, which are both very good troughout the entire game. The rest of the game is a different story however. The reason why this game doesn't really work for me is partially because it fails to commit to being either an action game or a full blown RPG. On the rpg side, it has the length of a standard jrpg but does not commit to the systems that make those games special. No playable or even semi playable party members, no in depth gear or magic system to create interesting character builds. The lack of these elements also combines with another gripe, the combat system. They created an action style combat system with the depth of a puddle. Clive has little to no combos in his base moveset, for a game that lasts 40-60 hours this is already a problem. If I can understand his moveset and learn nothing new within 1 hour, how do you expect it to carry the entire game? I enjoy the different eikon abilities, but they dont add enough depth to justify how many combat encounters there are, and how much hp every enemy has. While combining eikons can be fun, there is no reward for combining anything, and it boils down to simply filling a stun gauge and spamming your best abilities. They really should have commited to a full on combo system that rewards creativity, instead they chose style over substance. Style over substance is also how I would describe my other problem with the game, the pacing and in turn story. Final Fantasy 16 has a lot of cutscenes. You almost cannot go 15 minutes without stumbling into one. While this creates a very cinematic game, it breaks up the pacing considerably. Often times when you finally get immersed it goes into a dialogue heavy cutscene that takes away from the gameplay, while they look good, it often does not feel very necessary, especially when some of the dialogue can feel unnecesary and repetitive. The story itself here is alright, Clive is a cool protagonist and I often felt connected with him trough his struggles. Sadly the same can not really be said for the rest of the cast. Due to the lack of a substantial party system, characters such as Jill, Joshua and dion can lack impact. I liked them, but did not feel a stronger connection to them even after a 40+ hour journey. The same can be said for ultima, his beliefs are something I have seen enough times in other stories, and I cant say that this game put a unique spin on the free will vs godly submission debate. I also struggled to do any sidequests past a few in the start. They felt like a slog, and neither the story or rewards from them provided anything that was worth my time. If the sidequests do get better towards the end, the game did not provide me enough of a reason to see them trough. I really wanted to like this game more , and there are some really cool and exciting moments scattered troughout its 40+ hour runtime. Sadly the time between these exciting moments is a slog to get trough, and neither the gameplay nor pacing made it a more fun experience.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 2: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 17 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,502 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The game is beautiful. Has awesome story telling and the combat system is fast paced and rewarding!

great story, good combat runs slow in towns, its good 9/10
