13 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Honestly, this game sucks. The first 15h are completely linear, there's zero player agency, and you're constantly funneled into nearly impossible battles where you can die in one turn. I've been a fan of FF games since PS1, and this is NOT a FF game. It's a railroaded story at best and a timed action sequence story at worst. [edit] After another eight hours, I reached the first Bartandulus fight. I couldn't beat it no matter what strat I used. I tried grinding in the previous area which was entirely too frustrating, and ended up downloading Wand (WeMod). I figured I'll just max out my crystarium and weapons/accessories. And you know what? It barely made any difference. In the end I used a one-hit hack to beat the boss. Never have I ever seen a game where leveling characters/gear makes such little difference. The entire combat system is built around luck, grind, and the assumption that players have pre-battle buff items which cannot be bought and never seem to drop from chests or fights. After beating the boss and continuing to the next area, I fought two pulsework knights. I realized after a few minutes I was only chipping away at them, closed the game, and honestly I don't intend to reopen it. If I hadn't already dumped so much time in from this and a previous save, I'd ask for a refund. A completely disappointing experience, only enjoyable as a youtube cutscene movie.

13 on sale2 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 2 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Sep 11: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 13 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 5.67/day in the week to Aug 4 → 6/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

i really like this game i used to have it for ps3 but never got to finish it due to the console stopping working and now ive been playing here on steam and have been enjoying it, the combat is fun and quick and the story is cool and interesting i enjoy watching it and the lil details and animation
its just not very good
put a game on sale that isn't playable on 64-bit should be banned no idea why steam allows this garbage on their platform
I had no technical issues in this game. Maybe a few frame drops and the corners of my monitor not completely filled sometimes in cinematics. But nothing regarding crashes on a usual windows 11 pc. If you only want to play the story and dont engage in the combat system, dont play it. I just wanted to finish the story and avoided a lot of combat encounters. That worked for me until I hit a brick wall which was the endboss of chapter 11. Note, even on easy difficulty is not really easy. You still have to play right or you will die quickly late game. To overcome the boss, I spend about 3-4 hours farming experience and leveling up my characters. After I did that once, I managed to beat the rest of the game. For me personally, the game is definitely really hard if you skip a lot of fights and are just in for the story. If you like the combat and kill everything in your path, you can probably overlevel stuff and it will be fine. I thought the combat was trash after starting the game. But near the end of it, I really started to enjoy it and played a bit with the different teams and strategies for the encounters. The start is slow, midgame you get new abilities and it gets fun, endgame you need to have some levels or you will hit a brick wall sometimes. I enjoyed it.

Only posting as not recommended because most folks I know play Final Fantasy more for the game itself rather than the story, and I absolutely cannot stand the gameplay. I'd be writing a book on why I hate the gameplay if I got descriptive and specific, so I'll summarize with, imagine your gameplay revolving around changing all of your individual characters' builds mid-battle, except when you change one, you change all the others, and you have limited combinations. Love the story though, so if you want to set it to easy mode to make the gameplay a non-factor and just enjoy the story, it's great for that. In fact, I'd honestly say Lightning is my favorite Final Fantasy protagonist.
Playing via crossover on MacbookAir M5. Added two Mods to make it playable. Runs beautifully and feels like it came out last gen. only issue is certain cutscenes don't allow the voices to come through, however all the FMV are coming through perfect. definitely took set up but considering the game was only like $6 it was all worth it to finally be able to expirnce this beautiful game.
