Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
13 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Tudo é maravilhosamente bem feito e imersivo.

Veredito
Vale tentativa.

13 on sale2 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 2 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Sep 11: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 13 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 5.67/day in the week to Aug 4 → 6/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Boring, repetative, linear. Plot - too much ♥♥♥♥ thrown together, in 10+hours still not properly explained. Character - probably ok, nothing special, different appereance and behavior types. Linear - a longest drunk test you will ever have. Walk in a line for a billion years. Combat - ♥♥♥♥. Some variety to abilities that character have. How can you genuinely be ok with existance of a 'auto battle'? The only thing what u can do in this game (outside of 'walking' ofc) is automated because it is boring and you dont wan't to do it again in again in the meaningless fights. Linear progression of characters skill trees. In 10+ u have almost no time with more than 3 characters in party to compose an own team. An hours of cutscenes - i can watch a movie elsewhere. Terrible pc port - requires vc++/dotnet but was not able to install it in the system. Bad kbm support. Regular crashes. As someone who had never played sega/square enix/nintendo/sony games and/or owned a 'gaming console' in my life I declare: There is no good games made by sega/square enix/nintendo/sony since lets say 1998. Mario, sonic, ff, pokemon, all the side scrolling platformers and fighting games are literally ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. The 'genres' I hate. The controls/ui design for controllers made bad games even worse. I am grateful to the universe that i am a fan of other types of ♥♥♥♥ games and not the retarded console fanboy. I believe this is better than majority games on japan's market in 2008. The comparison however is between 'bad' and 'terrible'.

oyunda hiç bir şekilde ilerliyemedim ilerlemeyi bırak oynayamadım bile sürekli oyundan atması donması vs bütün sorunlar yuzunden insan çileden çıkıyor şahsen eski oyunların en peak oyunlar oldugunu düşünüyorum ama ffxııı beni optimize olarak hayal kırıklığına uğrattı iade talebi etmek zorunda kaldım oyunu açamadım oynayamadım oyun firmasıda bu oyunu tekrar optimize etmeye uğraşırmı bilmem ama şu haliyle oyun atma.performans kaybi vs.. alınmaz. ha yinede ff serisinde hastaysanız indirin deneyin ama oyun içi sıkıntıyla karşılaşırsanız şaşırmayın ve boyle sorunları yaşamayı göze bulundurarak alın.
First of all, let me clarify that I not only invested over 140 hours into the game, but also completed it at 100%, including all achievements. What a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ waste of time, I must say, but back then it was a sad and lonely time in my life, and I needed an escape. As a big fan of Final Fantasy, who grew up playing the old SNES classics and experienced first hand the golden era of the series on Playstation 1 and 2, having played most main titles so far, it pains me to say that this game is by far one of the worst entries of the entire franchise. The story is bad and unnecessarily convoluted, the characters lack personality and are pretty lame (even if I kinda like Lightning and love to see another strong main female character) and the overall game is too simple, linear and boring, and don't get me start talking about the mindless combat system... This does not necessarily mean that it's a horrible game, it's a Final Fantasy after all, but it falls far short of the standards the series has accustomed us to, and definitely even compared to other populars JRPGs. Sure, you can give it a try and have fun, but if you still haven't played most of the other important entries from the franchise, just don't waste your time with this one or any of its sequels. On top of that, I must add this is a terrible piece of crap of a PC port (like most FF titles originally released only for consoles) that can be really frustrating to play without relying on third-party programs, mods and unofficials patches.
!WARNING THIS GAME DOES NOT RUN ON MODERN RIGS! Steam needs to add a disclaimer for future purchasers. I just spent 4 hours doing every fix the community/internet/ai suggested and nothing worked. You will only lose your time. If you want to play it, buy an old rig or a ps3. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME LIKE I DID.
.
Love being able to play this again. I don't think it has had a remaster since the PS3 release. Looks great and stands the test of time.
