"Mi primo me hizo jugar al Final Fantasy VII cuando era chico." Qué meme noble. En mi caso fue literalmente así... y menos mal que le hice caso. Jugué el Final Fantasy VII original en su momento y quedó grabado para siempre. Años después llegué a Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade con bastante miedo de que no estuviera a la altura, pero terminó superando mis expectativas. No intenta reemplazar al clásico; lo homenajea y, al mismo tiempo, se anima a expandir la historia con una calidad impresionante. El sistema de combate mezcla acción y estrategia de forma brillante, los personajes están mejor desarrollados que nunca, la música sigue siendo una locura y el apartado visual es espectacular. El episodio de Yuffie es un excelente complemento que vale mucho la pena. Al final entendí que el meme tiene razón: todos tuvimos ese primo que nos insistía con jugar Final Fantasy VII... y tenía razón. Si jugaste el original, vas a disfrutar cada referencia. Y si nunca lo hiciste, esta es una forma increíble de entrar en uno de los mejores RPG de la historia.

I think I’m officially addicted to Final Fantasy VII... it's been my favorite since childhood! 😅 It started with the OG on PS1 and it never let go. I bought the Remake on PS4 the day it dropped, then bought it again on the Epic Store just to experience it on PC. After finishing it there I bought it again on PS5 just to 100% the achievements one more time! 🏆When Rebirth came out I played it nonstop on PS5 though I have to admit,... those hard mode trophies are hardddd af!! 💀 I ended up buying it on Steam too, using 4K 8K texture mods and gameplay enhancements to finally max out every achievement. After that I started feeling empty so what did I do? I bought the Remake AGAIN on Steam... and it hasn’t even been a week and I’ve already clocked 22 hours!! 🤯 Mann sometimes I feel like I’m getting insane 😂😂😂😂😂. But as a fan since childhood I can honestly say this game has everything I’ve ever wanted. Even now when I get bored I go back to the OG using 7th Heaven and the Echo-S voice mods 😂😂😂. If you're a fan you get it............. there's just no leaving Midgar!! 😂

cloud as a main character really resonates with me, since i too am a socially awkward hardass with frequent migraines. runs great at a stable 120 fps in 1080p, but the huge stutters in settlement sections really break immersion. at first i thought it was just my 6gb of vram (laptop gpu moment) but people with beefy desktop rigs seem to report the same. booo the filler is there and it is impossible to ignore, but i've never really cared about that stuff unless it severly gets in the way of gameplay, which i don't think it does here. crawling around everywhere gets old fast but at the very least you have the character's dialogue to keep you company, and along with the great cutscenes it makes this game kind of cinematic, not like old school rpgs i'm used to where i just storm in and kill everything that moves lol. i also really like the sort of hybrid combat system they have here. i like it, is cool game. i'm gonna finish this. i'll probably play the original and rebirth as well.
Cloud crossdressing better not awaken anything in me, again.
