Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
About

Add-ons
Each DLC is estimated with the same model as a game, then summed — a modeled figure, not reported DLC sales.
Sums Steam only; Epic, Nintendo publish no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

I wish the combat system was actually fun.
Would've probably loved this when I was like 10 but too childish for me. also hate the combat system

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 26: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Same day: best BR #29, worst DE #99 · 11 markets collected
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 37.89/day in the week to Aug 4 → 46/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

You the player are forced to have cloud in a dress. That's how degenerate, detached, and deluded this "remake" of ff7 is. It should be a dungeon crawler. Instead, it's a fill in the blank fantasy. IDK wtf this this. But it's not FF7.
FFあまり触れてこず最近初めてプレイして凄く綺麗でドラマみたいではまりましたw おすすめします
Absolutely terrible. Some incredibly frustrating boss fights and red's voice change finally broke me and I couldn't finish it. This game shat on a lifelong love of FF7.
this pice of crap will ruin every fun in gaming with the final missions. The storry of the original FF7 was good and engaging, This pice here just assumes everything is known and you will fill in the gaps of storytellig on your own. It overexplain stupid stuff like what to do next every corner, but will never explain you the overarching story of the world. I finaly got worn down by the useless fighting mechanics and repeatedly fighting the same boss enemies for the fourth time in the same fight ... just so the game wins a few more minutes of time with stupid grinding and boring cutscenes without content. Halve the time you will not even be allowed to skip this boring mess, but will have to sit trough this crap again and again, just because you forgot to press a butten in another fight at just the right moment. Thanks for ruining a gamers classic with this boring, uninspireing and unengaging pice of crap. At least the techical side worked .. the uninstall button in steam worked fine too.
HOW tf are there so many good reviews? This game is so bad. Gameplay = walk through narrow spaces slowly for like 3 hours total and get jailed walking slow behind npc for another 3h in one playthrough. 3 minutes infight cutscenes unskippable of course. The Bossfight vs Underpantsface has like 10 minutes of cutscenes you cant skip. Compared to the original FF7 this game is just a jail. Materia is a jail, equipment is a jail, cant rename protagonists, you have to run long ways to respawn enemys. The default keyboard setting for PC is a joke and feels like it was done by a key randomizer programm, surely nobody tested it because its unplayable without 30 minutes of key engineering in settings. Something i like: the Combat. But is this new? No its from FF7 Crisis Core on PSP and honestly better play that^^ Will i play this game again after im done? No never again! Might not play the "next part" even though i already own the game, because I'd rather play the original FF7 for the 200th time.
Gameplay isn't the worst thing ever. Miles better than the garbage that was XV. Hated how Sephiroth has to be constantly appear rather than be a big build up. Hated how they had to do an "epic" boss fight at the end because they wanted all of midgar to be a single game. Saying it's a technically a sequel or it's just meta is just cope. Hate that I'm still going to play the other 2 games.
Great, except for the endings. Terrible endings. But I'm willing to overlook that since the game is fun and it literalizes the audience as a force of "whispers" that prevent characters from changing the "true timeline".
