Who ever in charge of game design, thankyou for make me lose interest on Final Fantasy 7. FF7 Remake was amazing, but this? This is just yakuza game slap with FF7 for skins, might as well rename it into Final Fantasy VII Yakuza. I don't mind with bunch of mini game and side quest, but put mini game in main quest? You really want to kill your fan base huh. Congratulation you did it!!!
better than genshin
solid game, however..... my god chapter 11 puzzles are bad, im talking EXTREMELY bad game design. You have barret with a gun, then cait sith has to pick up a barrel and throw it in a rotating combine, but the camera and description are god awful. Im at 5 hours at this one part, I cannot hit it, its effectively stumped my game play. I like puzzles, but man this is really bad.... like old school playstation 1 puzzles that failed players gameplay bad. Cant recommend it right now... its really given me a bad taste.
i dont recommend this game i liked the first one but this one sucks
Aerith will always be my goat
As someone who's played the original Final Fantasy VII, I really wanted to love Rebirth, but it ended up being quite a disappointing experience. The biggest issue for me was the amount of padding. A lot of the game feels like it's stretching what were once memorable moments into unnecessarily long sections. The pacing suffers because of it, and it often feels like you're being delayed from getting to the parts you actually want to play. The open world starts off feeling fresh, but before long it becomes repetitive. Most of the activities are just slight variations of the same tasks repeated across different regions. After a while, it feels more like ticking boxes than enjoying an adventure. Then there's Chadley. At first, he's fine, but after dozens of interruptions, constant calls, and repeated explanations, it becomes genuinely irritating. Every time you think you're about to get back into the story, another conversation pops up and completely kills the momentum. The side quests didn't help either. The majority of them felt like filler, with very little payoff. They follow the same formula over and over again, and I reached a point where I simply stopped caring about completing them because they weren't rewarding enough to justify the time. The combat, visuals, soundtrack, and character performances are all excellent, and they're easily the game's strongest points. Unfortunately, they're weighed down by bloated pacing and repetitive content. Rebirth has moments of brilliance, but getting to those moments often feels like a chore rather than an exciting journey.
