Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
About

Ivalice—a kingdom blessed by the light of the gods and ruled by the Two-headed Lion. A year after her defeat to Ordallia in the Fifty Years' War, the king succumbed to malady, leaving a mere boy of two to ascend the throne.
Whoever was named regent would rule in truth, and thus emerged two rival candidates: dukes Goltanna and Larg, whose deeds during the war had earned them great renown. Goltanna the Black Lion and Larg the White Lion were destined to clash, and the resulting conflict would come to be known as the War of the Lions.
Against this backdrop appear Ramza, third son of House Beoulve, one of Ivalice's leading military families, and his childhood companion Delita, a commoner raised amongst nobles. As they endeavor to chart a course through this tumultuous age, a mighty current draws them ever closer to the abyss.

Lead your party in exhilarating encounters where strategic positioning and forward planning determine the outcome. Use the varied terrain of 3D battlefields to your advantage, skillfully manipulate the turn order, and victory will be yours for the taking.

Combine a wide variety of jobs and abilities to craft your very own strategies.
As your party members grow, they will gain access to more jobs, each with its own unique abilities. Once learned, abilities can be used even after changing to another job. With over 20 jobs to master—including white mage, black mage, dragoon, and many others from the FINAL FANTASY series—and hundreds of abilities to learn, you have the freedom to experiment and discover the combinations that best suit your party. Chocobos and other creatures can also be tamed and led into battle.

With improved graphics, fully voiced dialogue, and refined gameplay, the enhanced version provides the perfect way to immerse yourself in the world of Ivalice. Along with the fine-tuning of several features and battle mechanics, the inclusion of the more accessible "Squire" difficulty setting makes the enhanced version an excellent starting point for first-time players.
The classic version unites the graphics and gameplay of the original 1997 version with the renowned War of the Lions translation for a unique way to experience this beloved title.
The Enhanced version of the game supports a wide variety of controller options.
It also supports keyboard and mouse controls.
The Classic version of the game only supports XInput controllers.
Keyboard controls are also supported, but mouse controls are not supported.

One of the greatest combat systems and stories I've ever experienced in gaming. The VA performance is truly incredible across the board and worth picking up if you haven't played it. Prepare to get completely destroyed in the early and mid game if you've never played before. Some encounters are straight-up BS, but all are completely solvable with minimal grinding even on the hardest difficulty.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 22: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Latest in each market: best FR #78, worst JP #95 · 9 markets collected
US · last 30 days
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.67/day in the week to Aug 5 → 5.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
Final Fantasy Tactics Remastered 2 Electric Boogaloo, The Review
Basic Info This is a remaster of the original Final Fantasy Tactics for PSX, not to be confused with Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions for PSP and mobile platforms. Both games seek to remaster the original, and do not build upon one another save for the fact that Ivalice Chronicles utilizes upscaled versions of the cutscenes made for War of the Lions. Other than that, this game is based on the original PSX release without any of the expansions to gameplay made in WotL, with an entirely rewritten script featuring full voice acting in order to sound more natural compared to the prior two translations, algorithmically upscaled spritework, and many quality of life features that feel they should have been there from the beginning that make the gameplay much smoother. Storyline 8/10 Final Fantasy Tactics is a banger of a story, all the way until the very end I'd say. The game features many villains whose ambitions, while sometimes overly dramatized, are very human feeling. The world design of Ivalice as a setting is extremely well-done, and the almost game makes you feel as if you're playing through a fantasy version of the historic War of the Roses. The writing is extremely well done and continues to be relatable to our current day and age, perhaps moreso than when it was first released. It's an extremely riveting tale, until the game then reminds you that you're playing Final Fantasy near the end, which just kinda feels empty after all of the buildup of everything else in my opinion. Gameplay 10/10 It's the OG Tactics, with added difficulty levels, both an easy and hard mode, that scale damage respectfully. I completed the game on the hard difficulty, and near the end, I felt like I had to use cheese strats in order to get through the final few fights. That said, the game itself is very easy to cheese with party members that have global abilities, and I feel that if I hadn't played it on hard, it would've been too easy near the end for my tastes. There is no additional content from WotL, but the game feels complete regardless, and I feel there is not much lost there save for a few classes. I would've liked to experience the multiplayer aspects from WotL on PC with internet access, but the game doesn't lack without it. By the end of the game, you'll probably experienced most of what the extensive job system has to offer with many characters maxing out around level 40 or so. Sound 10/10 It's the same sound as the OG mostly. Maybe cleaned up, but I can't tell, it's been a long while since I played it (even though it comes packaged here for the old-heads, I dunno why you'd wanna play it though?). What really shines through though is the newly added voice-overs. Each character has a voice I feel very much befits them, and it doesn't sound forced whatsoever. While it's nice to imagine each character the way we want them to be in our heads, it's nice to be able to listen to them the way the developers envision them as well. Graphics 8/10 It's Tactics, again! The graphics are okay, everything has been upscaled to be higher resolution, although this has created some blurriness in areas on sprites, which isn't too noticeable unless you're looking for it. They have also added some kinda a dithering visual overlay that tints everything, and honestly, I don't really like that. Both of those things can be fixed with mods, however. Overall Score: 9/10 Go play it, is guud game
