Buen beat'em up.
Good game!
A great love letter to classic beat em ups but with very slick gameplay. Its a blast to learn the characters and bust out combos with them. You have optional paths and choices to make in the main story, plus there are plenty of unlockables. The music and graphics are top notch and very impressive for such a small development team.
There seems to be a good game here but it is really hampered by some questionable design decisions. First levels are enemy spammed and the AI is not really even up to SoR1 level, so it becomes mindless button smashing. Which is wierd because this is the time you should be learning the game. The designs are also quite poor and I don't understand why there is so much limit of movement on most of the first 3 stages. You can move maybe less than half the screen vertically. This does get better later and the enemy and boss AI does improve but it keeps resorting to enemy spamming vs quality and fun. Had to slog 3 stages to get a glimpse of great enemy design that unfortunately were far too few. There is very little design on the levels that improves gameplay or augments the play pattern. So, maybe more interesting than your basic beat em up but not really up there with the best.
best beat em up I know of. Big beginners trap is not knowing what you're doing at first so I'd reccomend heading straight to the training mode. play arcade mode for a little bit, get 30 coins, then spend that on training. from there the game is purely incredible

JUST BUY IT!!! IT'S AWESOME!!
