So impressive game. It goes straight to the point. Easy to understand, easy to play.
A city full of activities... and aliens :D... A huge amount of interiors... A robot driven bus take you on a sightseeing tour... a fatal one :D I like this very much
As all people are kidnapped before your eyes, the city remains completely untouched. The elevators, traffic lights, underground and all equipment still work. Televisions - a lot of them - continue to broadcast funny commercials. You are alone for a while until a giant UFO howering in the sky beams angry aliens or robots to the ground. The player only has one pistol found on the street - later of course a ray gun :) and alien "fly disk" to move quicklier. The city is full of amazing details, things that fell to the streets, to the bus and on to subway train seats when people were kidnapped. People's unfinished tasks, even the plans of advertising agency can be seen on their office computer screens. You can enter numerous indoor spaces even people's homes - you need these spaces to take a break from angry aliens - and eat people's fridges empty! Picking up items, using buttons, opening doors or shooting is all done simply with the right or left mouse button. Nice.
The game has a very good and in a way, nostalgic feel. The empty city reminds me of early source engine games. The mechanics are quite bare bones and fast to pickup. I really like that nobody is holding your hand during the game, but rather you can explore and learn everything by just playing.
Just fun shooting the aliens, but there is also a huge city to explore...
This game is way better than it should be. Its genuinely funny and the city looks great!. could do with a bit of polish. maybe some ambient sound and extra animations ect. but for this price this games amazing fun. 9/10 great laugh. btw the only gun in the game is near the kiosk at the start of the invasion (you dont want to be without it :-) )
A best buy! So much fun for a few coins!
The town is so feature rich, all those galleries, shops and restaurants and even a zoo with animals. On the contrary, the aliens operate in a rather straightforward manner. This leads to unexpected and funny situations. Nice ensemble.
This is a sequel to game the "News Reacts". The game still has a few bugs but it has improved. No longer can you drive cars, which makes it less fast paced. The action feels somewhat similar. The story itself is different. It takes place in the same city but your role is different. I'd say it is a fairly simple survival game, with references to the real world. It is interesting to explore what the environment has to offer. Also interacting with different objects has some interesting outcomes. Playing with friends would be nice I think.
Nice that you don't have to watch any animations, you can get straight to the point, to shoot the aliens BUT you have to hit the device on the chest... headshots do nothing.
