DO NOT BUY THIS. The game is fantastic and has such incredible POTENTIAL, if not for the fact the devs have given up on the game and moved on to another project. I joined their discord and never got a reply from anyone other than other players who told me devs have moved on. They created a great foundation then abandoned it. Personally I'll actively avoid developers like this as I dont enjoy wasting money to support someone who will abandon a game like that. Games like this should be removed from steam IMO as it gives players false hope.
Save your money. The game was abandoned by the devs.
Abandonware. DO NOT BUY.
Game was abandoned January 2025. No updates since.
Looks great in the trailers but actual gameplay is unplayable.
Gave Fera an honest shot. Played the game in co-op and although you can argue "the games in early access its bound to be unfinished and have bugs" the devs have essentially abandoned the game because the funding ran dry. What hurts is how solid of a starting foundation it has to be a good game too, but knowing that it will never be beyond what it is, I cannot recommend it. Maybe as a time waster for 20 hours of game play if you are soloing it, but beyond that no and even then it feels like a bit of a grind heavy slog. Again, the start of a good game is here, but its basically become abandonware so expect you'll get just about what ya pay for.
i was extremely excited to play this game. waited almost a year and a half to convince people to play this with me. I finally tried it out and WOW this is the most bottom of the barrel unity SLOP. Hoping for new and bigger updates was what i was really hoping for but they decided that this game was too expensive and abandoned this game completely. Save your money. Even if you like the videos you see, it doesnt play like this what so ever
Prehistoric fantasy genre barely gets any attention, but Fera does a solid job with it. You make your own caveman hunter equipped with ancient shaman magi-tech that utilizes the element of the wind to glide and grappling hook your way around the world and in combat. Very colorful and beautiful game. I'm sure everyone has seen the news; the investors pulled the plug and the devs had to pull a hail Mary with the game. They got it in a working state, and to be honest, I'm still having a lot of fun with it. After I got used to the tethering and gliding, you can use both fairly well to pull some fun acrobatics when exploring and fighting. After I started digging into the crafting and exploring, I got really hooked and found the game to be a lot of fun. It has a solid progression system as you would expect of a good crafting-survival game, but the combat expanded as I acclimated to the controls. Of course, the only downside of the game is that the entire project didn't get to see the light of day. You're reminded of this as you explore and see a new, neat looking area only to discover that it's inaccessible. I really like exploring in games, so it's sad for me. I get pulled from the fun experience and back into the fact that the investors canned it. Still, there is a good deal of game left to play. What they scraped together is genuinely fun and endearing, and for $10 I'd say it's worth it. There aren't a lot of games with that price tag that are this fun. Peace.
Abandon-ware. Avoid. Maybe like 20% done and we will never get the rest because the devs keeps insisting Steam has stolen 70-80% of their earnings, crying they've only made like $16k from over $100,000 in sales. Had potential but now it'll sit in the Early Access hell forever. Wish Steam could give refunds and pull the game from the store.
save ur money game is abandond by devs
