About
You are a sentient fungus, reanimating the scrapped robotic body of a long-dead machine.
Cooperate with your friends to solve puzzles, defeat bosses, and clear dungeons. Join your friend's world bringing your character and items with you.

Dodge, block, parry, and engage the hostile tribes and creatures of the island. Master a variety of weapons, each with their own move sets and statistics. Equip yourself with armor that suits your playstyle and aesthetic.

Start with a decrepit, moldy frame. Replace it to overcome the dangers of the environment, support your combat style, or enhance elemental effects. Expand your stamina, boost the integrity of your frame, and increase the potency of your fungal magic.

Infuse yourself using the elemental power within each fungus. Combine effects to produce explosive results. Use fire to burn your enemies and scorch a path through barricades. Cast healing water to rejuvenate your friends and block roaring flames. Call upon the spiritual essence of the world and empower your allies.
Jump, air-dash, and mantle over obstacles. Hone your platforming skill and discover new pathways across stony cliffs, burning magma, noxious mangroves, and spore riddled chasms.

Pretty strong base, seems to have a lot of promise. There is already a decent amount of content despite being in such an early stage of development. Gameplay is pretty smooth, the different builds that are available all seem to be fairly balanced.
Do you like souls-likes? Have you explored all of elden ring and wished there were more? Did you enjoy Dark Souls because of the inter-connected level design? Or are you like me, enjoying farming sessions in soulsborne games to get that cool rare drop? Well look no further because Mycorelic has your back! This is a great game with an interesting theme: you are a robot husk animated by fungii. The entirety of the game is built on this one premise, from the environnement to the enemies, and it looks awesome! Though it is a solid singleplayer experience, playing with others multiplies the fun: one can heal, another is the tank and yet another goes behind enemies to deal critical damage. Or you can have 4 people going into melee. Just don't forget to equip the Band of the Friend, otherwise you'll find that this game has permanent friendly fire. (I cast Fireball!!) Leveling up is interesting in this game. Your equipped limbs dictate how much you can level up, and you can change these limbs at a rest site anytime, ensuring that you're never locked into a specific build and leaving you free to play with all the cool loot this game has to offer. I was surprised with how big the map is. When you stand on a high peak on the island, it looks like it'll take you 4-5 hours top. Then you find an underground cave. You complete that, go back up and find... another cave! Like what? I'm still playing and it's still going!! My only gripes is the pathfinding of some enemies. Sometimes when you play ranged, they stop moving and just block your attacks. This would work with arrows and such, but when you pepper them with magic, something they can't effectively block, they just go down without a fight. I feel they should at least block while walking towards you, but that might just be me.
Nice multiplay-able soulslike with tight but fair platforming I've played through a few of the builds along the way and I really like the bones of the game and have had a blast exploring, finding hidden treasures, and unlocking the next shortcut. Really looking forward to the full release, these guys are cooking.
Very fun indie soulslike. For the price it's worth a buy with friends
Bionicle meets souls, what isn't to like?
Amazing game and everything I want in an Indie Elden Ring. -Combat is souls-like, and is well executed. the player controls feel responsive and it's clear they put a lot of effort into fine-tuning it. -Bosses are HARD! It's not every game that I feel forced to optimize my gear and stats, but this one pushes you to use every advantage you have. All the bosses felt distinct and never repetitive. -The stat system is genuinely a highlight of the game for me. The fact that it doesn't punish you for experimenting with different builds, and that every build-type feels strong in it's own way, is something I think aspiring devs should absolutely study. -Art-wise, it pulls off the 3D low-poly aesthetic really well in a way that doesn't feel low effort. The use of lighting, shifting vertices and bloom effects really give it a sense of polish. -Worldbuilding is unique, and one of the first things that caught my attention for this game. The fungal-robot-zombie concept is very cool and well-integrated to the mechanics of the game. The only warnings and criticisms I want to give are: - If you are hoping to co-op from different ends of the US, I would hold off for now, the lag is very noticeable to the extent that it does affect gameplay and can cause missed jumps and delayed attacks. - certain enemies and bosses could use some rebalancing. -a few extra checkpoints could be added to minimize backtracking in certain areas. -inventory is currently very bare bones, it can definitely benefit from sorting options. but these are things that I expect of a game in early access.
This game is amazing for a souls game! All i can say is wow. When it comes to souls i think of near impossible but this makes a amazing impression on new souls players like me. so in my thoughts, and take this with a grain of salt, it's the best souls game in a hot minute
(playing since playtesting and getting the key from devs) the game isnt at max performance but seeing how well its put together by like three dudes it is super well done and worth getting, the souls rouge like function super well together and the replay ability especially with friends is so rewarding. i cannot wait to see it at 1.0
A phenomenal little souls-like, great world and atmosphere along with a cool body part mechanic. Had put a bunch of time getting everything during the demo and picked it up as soon as it released
For the love of all that is holy, why are there STILL games these days that don't let you rebind WASD ?
