Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.57/day in the week to Aug 19 → 8.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
ACT 1 is available at launch. Acts 2 & 3 will release as free updates in the coming months!
FEED THE PIT is a linear, story-driven, investigative horror game where you hunt wealthy individuals through a dangerous card game in order to Feed The Pit, all while avoiding relentless horrors.
THE PIT hungers. To feed it, we're sending you to kill people in Carrister Valley. Hidden deep in the woods, your only hope at finding them is with magical cards--each of which asks a unique question about the target's location.
With the right inquiries, you'll narrow down the map until only one possible spot remains. Your card selection is limited--you'll have to play the hand you're dealt. No two investigations are the same.
Every mission brings a new monster, acting as your nemesis for the day. Their behavior is a mystery. Take dangerous gambles and pay close attention to discover how they work, and more importantly--how to survive.
THE PIT is here to save us. And you've been invited to join his Chosen Circle. We have a higher purpose to serve. A new world order to execute. For Brotherhood. For The Pit.
A complex and branching story lies ahead. What will you do?

Curious Fox delivered. From their dev logs, my expectations were already high, but they have absolutely went above and beyond. This is by no means a magnum opus, but it's most definitely fun.
amazing horror/arcade game, the hunting system is incredibly unique and the wide open forests freaked me out the entire time. very daniel mullins coded, and it even has its own kaycees mod!!1!
Went into it with low expectation's and left pleasantly surprised. Strong story and fun gameplay loop with a healthy mix of horror and intrigue. Despite the cosmic horrors and being imbedded in a cult, the character interactions are well balanced to keep things grounded and even shine with great comedic moments. The actual hunt part of the gameplay is filled with tension, but not so much to make it unbearable and the writing is good enough that you want to overcome and see what happens next. My only beef with the game (currently) is I wanted more game as Act 1 concluded (roughly around 3.5 hour mark included my having to retry the last hunt a few times). That's the thing though - I want more. Will definitely keep this one on a follow and looking forward to Act 2+
Story is interesting, however the game play didn't click for me at all. Called it quits at mission 4. it boils down to find guy get card narrow down map rinse and repeat. Some neat ideas but ultimately for me a letdown
best surprisingly good game ive played in a while, the only complaint is that its episodic, but act 1 alone has sold me and i will return for act 2 and 3, great game so far!
FEED THE PIT! In all seriousness though, LOVE this game!! It was a little unexpected to see the story take an upfront role given previous entries; HOWEVER the story so far is compelling and hooks you in from the beginning. No spoilers here but I'm curious to see where the narrative leads the player into the next chapters. Speaking of chapters, you know a game is good when it leaves you with the feeling of wanting more and I believe the 2nd and 3rd chapters will be just as entertaining as the first. AND THE GAMEPLAY!! Incredibility entertaining, would have never had thought a Battleship clone would challenge me as much as it has. The various enemies that change each time you venture out always brings a new edge to your hunt. SO SATISFYING when you finally find and catch your target!! My one and only complaint would be no "Endless Mode" or "Custom Mode" from the beginning as it is a little tedious to do the same four hunts over and over again; but this can be excused with the game not being fully released. I'm sure new challenges and features will be added as more chapters are released. TL;DR - PLAY THIS GAME!! and FEED. THE. PIT!
Awesome game.
