About
FEED THE AI is a short (~3h) active incremental where you feed an evolving AI with Data and shape it into a Tyrant, Rational, or Protector.
Will your creation save humanity... or rule it?
At first, you help it. Then it starts to evolve. Eventually, you begin to feel control slipping away.
Each upgrade expands your AI’s capabilities, pushing it closer to something beyond human control.
Will it protect humanity... optimize it... or dominate it?
The AI comments on its evolution as it gains more power and control, following paths that feel uncomfortably close to where real AI could lead us.
Complete the game with each Alignment to unlock permanent additional effects through a simple Prestige system. These bonuses speed up future playthroughs, making it easier to explore every AI path and uncover the full story.

I think this game has potential do be good, but at the current stage it is lacking. The gameplay feels like it is padded just to get the player right past the refund mark. I completed the game and got all achievements as of now in slightly under 3 hours. In addition to this, there is political messaging within the game which feels out of place. I can understand trying to voice an opinion about AI. Rather than a critique, the game makes it seem like we are going to become just like the Matrix in the end. This was a major throw off to me. Instead of saying we are going to end society, the developers could have given a nuanced opinion or even just a critique as to how to change things. All in all, this game has potential, but I think the messaging would need to be nuanced for me to recommend this to anyone as well as an increased variety in the gameplay.

A well-written, entertaining, and sometimes tongue-in-cheek game about a very realistic scenario regarding the real-world application of AI in commerce and government. I played through each of the three scenarios and found them all to be thought-provoking, especially in their similarities and mindsets of the AI taking certain actions. Highly recommended, regardless of your stance on AI (I myself hate capitalistic applications of GenAI). One of my favorite things about the game is how the skill tree interacts with the experience, namely in how it can become an enemy in itself depending on the upgrades you pick. Choosing certain upgrades triggers bugs or external system responses, giving you debuffs that you have to then work to get rid of. I found this to be a very refreshing experience. Kudos to the devs for that bit of originality. Amusingly enough, a user complaining that the game mentioned lowering emissions was what made me interested in this game, so thank you to whomever that was. /silly
A chill little game that's entirely completeable within 6 hours. It's not going to challenge anyone, and the replayability is nil. Still, nice little game.
Good game
A fun and charming cheap experience that, if you wish to get all the endings, takes quite the bit of time. (I fell asleep multiple times with my game open, do not take my play time into account.) Subsequent playthroughs do get a bit repetitive, but that's the nature of the beast, sadly. The different paths allow for slightly different feeling 'playstyles' as it were, but the gameplay is mostly the same it's just the passive things that happen to make you better change. Though, to be fair, it does feel slightly just enough of a change to feel like a 'class adjustment' type of upgrade, which is nice. Overall, out of most of the cheap 5 buck incremental games out there, this one is on the higher tier of decent. Its repetitive, but not so much that it feels like you aren't even playing anymore. It was worth playing through at least 3 times for me, which isn't nothing. All in all, grading it amongst its own kind I'd give the game a solid 8/10. 7.5 on a bad day, 8.5 on a good day. It does what it wants to do pretty well, and is enjoyable enough to possibly even come back for another run in the future.
Simple and good
The visuals are amazing The jokes are fun The thought of this happening in a few years is absolutely terrifying 10/10 experience for a game of this size
Very fun game for picking up here and there or grinding. Visuals and audio is very pleasing. I've played through 1/3 of the stories and it was entertaining. It definitely adds replay value.
An interesting incremental concept dragged down by slow pacing, weak prestige, and too much grinding. Feed the AI has a decent core concept, and there are some genuinely interesting upgrades and mechanics introduced along the way. Unfortunately, the entire game feels slow. Not just at the beginning, but throughout the whole experience. One of the more unusual ideas is that you eventually choose between a good and evil path. On paper, that sounds like it could add some interesting variation, but in practice it's implemented in a very dull way and doesn't meaningfully improve the progression. The prestige system is similarly underwhelming. It never gives the runs the kind of satisfying acceleration or transformation I want from an incremental, so the game eventually starts feeling less like progression and more like an unnecessarily long grind. What could have been an interesting incremental ends up overstaying its welcome. I still give it a thumbs up because there is something good here, even though it lacks polish. There is also one achievement that is very easy to miss unless you know about it beforehand and build specifically toward it:
For Total Awareness, I recommend going for it on your final run and choosing Protector Karma. Plan your build around the achievement from the start of that run, as it can be difficult to obtain otherwise.
