F&H 2: Termina is oppressive, relentless and hopeless. A mix of jRPG and Survival Horror. Turn-based combat meets resource management. 3 days to explore the wicked town of Prehevil and find out about its dark secrets. 3 days until the pale and sickly green moon rises at its apex. Termina is upon us!

Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.

This game has managed to spook me consistently even 15 hours deep, I certainly was not used anymore to horror games managing that effect on me anymore, it also managed to make me tense even when it was not particularly scary, I was uncomfortable, anxious and sometimes was even compelled to cry because the game was successful at making me care for the cast, I cried for Marina, I cried for Daan and goodness did I feel terrible whenever something in general happened to Levi... I fell in love with (most) of the cast, the little moments of humanity amidst the darkness warmed my heart, I felt pain alongside them and was disgusted by their terrible choices as well and I think that comes from one important element: this game feels alive, with everyone going around doing their own things at the same time as I it is impossible not to feel as you are living inside of a more complex world, not just a simple game with systems, an actual living world where everyone is taking their own path and it is ridiculous just how many possibilities there are I am still discovering after every run and after every death... I am going mostly guideless as well and have not finished the game yet, as my heart cannot take some people dying, so I am conscious there is still a lot to see I cannot cover, even then, with my limited knowledge of the game so far, I love it and would recommend 100%, I will now go cry some more.

13 on sale2 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 2 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Aug 31: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 13 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Fear and Hunger 2 is incredibly atmospheric RPG which can feel incredibly unfair or punishing to a new player if they're ignorant to it's systems, mechanics and events. It really is a game which is better named "Trial and Error". A lot of people call it unfair and as someone who thought that about #1, I feel the second entry is more fair if you just pay attention to what's going on, the game is generous enough to drop you a guide to basically explain combat in the starting area if you just go back onto the train and pick it up. While coin tosses can sometimes feel unfair in combat, it works as a "This is your last chance since YOU messed up here" moment, it's pointing out major/OHK attacks and if you're paying attention and you die, you'll remember the pattern for next time. I will agree that the anemic amount of saves can feel punishing to newer players, this is made better with easy(er) mode which allows the God of Fear and Hunger to provide 3 saves before collapsing, but it still amounts to being not a whole lot if you're wanting to explore without skipping time and you're still new. It unfortunately instilled a "Save panic" in me where I didn't want to save even after doing a lot and getting myself killed. I have just decided to wimp out and mod 99 books of enlightenment just until I understand much more of the game. A lot of rumors are spread about this game, that it's some glorified H-game with copius amounts of gross scenes, I genuinely am confused on this as anything which occurs is implied and not really shown, death scenes are quick with the most drawn out one being the pig-scene or arguably the crucifix scene as it puts you in a bad situation which almost guarentees death. People who say this depicts CP or something are just wrong, it does say "There's child abuse" but it's due to an implied scene with one character attacking a screaming bag, that's it. All characters shown on screen are 18+. I will say F&H2 is a better entry point than F&H1 which is extremely brutal at the best of times and can feel seriously unfair to new players which also houses way more noob traps than this game does, it also has the invisible timer which I can understand to players feels unfair (But it only locks you out of 1 ending really), it also has a habit of throwing strong enemies at you immediately where as F&H2 likes to spread out it's BBEGs unless you run headlong into the Woodsman or Needles, but both are busy if you're super early into the game which lets you run away. A big habit to get past is fighting every single enemy you encounter, you really have to pick and chose your battles in this game. Going against a new enemy can feel mildly intimidating as you have to wonder if it has a OHK, when the coin flip comes in, what's the best limb (In some instances) to hit first and just how strong is the enemy. You will find fights can EASILY be cheesed and the game hands you all the opportunity to do so, for example, to beat the Woodsman I threw out a beartrap, baited him into it and turn 1 smacked him by hitting his head, easy with no fuss. The Priest I killed throwing out a gas canister so again, easy win on two extremely difficult enemies if you're not prepared for them. This is all to say the game provides a lot to really make even a power encounter trivial if you understand how to pull it off, this doesn't go for all encounters and static ones will require better gear and understanding of attack patterns and strategising, but a lot of overworld encounters can be turned into a joke if you just use your head (And your items). Also, healing/food items are PLENTIFUL in easy(er) mode, meaning you barely interact with hunger and health can get low at times but I rarely felt I was SOL with 10hp and a dream.
