Not easy to recommend since these guys do very specific games. But if you're into slow, tough, claustrophobic and ominous experience, you can get it here.
So I ran into a few runtime bugs: - Train didn't always stop at the town I designated - Tab speed mode in scavenge mission hung my session so I couldn't get out of the mission even though all my crew had returned But all in all, I kinda liked it. It's certainly a game for people who like resource management games. I only beat it once, saving only 6 people and killing about 16 on the way in various ways. But for $10, yeah... would carve a path through death fog with small army of total strangers again 7.5 / 10
A neat idea where you are the engineer of a train journeying through a fog full of supernatural threats and creatures that take the shape of your passengers' fears. However the gameplay is the same thing every day with lots of fast forwarding to continue, broken up by the occasional scavenger run. The immersiveness of the game is pretty neat, you stay inside the engine room through the whole game and you listen to the sound of the train. When the inevitable attacks happen there's lots of spooky noises. But I found the management side of the game repetitive.
This game scratches an itch that I have yet to find anywhere else. It's a "quick" scavenging simulator where you build a team of survivors to go out into the fog where dreams become reality, in a sense. The UI is fun; you actually control the train and give orders to the people who go out into the fog, but very little relies on your input aside from choosing who the send out, and resource management. Very good game, if this particular brand appeals to you.
After seeing a YouTube playthough this game got my interest. Dispute not working the best on my current PC I have enjoyed my time with the game so far.

Great game! ever since they updated the custom passengers from 15 to 150 this game rocks. also they fixed a lot of the issues with disappearing portraits and such which is great, so the game works pretty well. always been a fan of the game, just used to get so frustrated with the glitches and bugs. one thing I would like is an option that only allows the custom passengers to show up more often in the game, or an option that makes the custom passengers show up way more than the in game random people. Also, I know the fog is meant to be mysterious, but would be cool if there was more lore to this game and maybe some more mini events that give clues on what is actually happening, (unless I am just missing something I haven't seen yet). the Ending is cool, but would be cool if there was a bit more to the ending like some images depicting the new society that had been created by your passengers based on the type on factions there are. But, I get this is an old game, so I don't expect to much from the devs, just happy it actually got any updates at all. I would love to see this gem get more mainstream attention though, like the FNAF or SCP, this game deserves it.
This is the kind of game that would make more money from advertisements on some kind of game portal on the internet. It really does feel like a point and click flash game with all of its pre-rendered content and simplistic game loop.
