About
Venture into a handcrafted world where ruins whisper of past cataclysms. Master the art of sword and sorcery and forge your path with relics, spells and choices that shape who you become in this first-person RPG.
While Fatekeeper follows a focused narrative path, the world invites exploration. From ancient battlegrounds, vast underground caverns and serene forests to crumbling sanctuaries forgotten by time, each area rewards curiosity with hidden lore, forgotten relics, and unexpected encounters.
Battle a wide variety of foes, each with distinct patterns, strengths, and weaknesses. Success demands both skill and preparation. Engage in reactive melee combat, unleash spells with precision, and adapt your tactics on the fly. Your build matters—but so does how you wield it.
Fatekeeper offers rich progression mechanics that go far beyond surface-level stats. Build and refine your character with meaningful choices across combat styles, attributes, and spell schools. Whether you lean into raw strength, nimble precision, or devastating sorcery, the game supports a wide range of viable and unique builds.
Discover, loot, and master a wide variety of weapons, armor, and artifacts. Customize your loadout to suit your playstyle, and experiment with powerful combinations to overcome increasingly challenging enemies. Every item matters—and the right gear can be the difference between victory and ruin.

Gives me strong Dark Messiah of Might and Magic vibes (a game I started playing but have yet to complete). Visually looks amazing given it's using Unreal Engine of course. My current issues with the game: - Skill tree - limited to 1 branch. - Performance - Graphics on Low are a no-go as it turns off shadows and lighting becomes very bright, killing the visuals. With DLSS balanced I got 40-50+ fps though it dipped at times. I'm sure on more powerful hardware it would run fine. Would I recommend this? If you have a more powerful PC and you don't mind EA, yes. Otherwise wait for a few updates then give it a try!

it's alright - graphics are nice - game feels more like an unfinished demo
it has good potential i like it
Terrible in the THQ fashion.
Classic vibes in a modern package. Honestly feels like a spiritual relative to Dark Messiah in the best possible way.
fun
Man this game is hard. But I'm not great at souls like patience. Looks good, it's UE5, but it runs like UE5 too. Played around with a couple of builds, more to try, enjoying it, hopefully they didn't prematurely shoot their load on the EA demo. Steam input works well enough, but we need proper controller support. Needs to be added ASAP

Combat is very dynamic with severed limbs on still living enemies, ragdoll kicks, and environmental aspects such as kicking someone into a barrel or something. Although there are some gripes I have with it. Ranged enemies are difficult to exploit. They attack quickly and are often placed at the ends of narrow corridors which there is no cover or flank. Forcing you to charge head first into archers. Even if you have mana, best you can do is grant yourself another second or two. Although I embrace the challenging aspects of this game, this specific thing is agitating. Especially the poison globe guys, they throw before their previous cloud even dissipates and there is a section i the mountain pass where you basically have to run through it. You can throw a vase behind him and knock over some debris, but he may not be hit by it. For a WIP game, it doesn't have a lot of bugs, just some optimization issues. Although not stated in specs, play on an SSD or suffer heavy frame loss. The environment and world is beautiful and the interactions with the rat are comedic.
