About
Venture into a handcrafted world where ruins whisper of past cataclysms. Master the art of sword and sorcery and forge your path with relics, spells and choices that shape who you become in this first-person RPG.
While Fatekeeper follows a focused narrative path, the world invites exploration. From ancient battlegrounds, vast underground caverns and serene forests to crumbling sanctuaries forgotten by time, each area rewards curiosity with hidden lore, forgotten relics, and unexpected encounters.
Battle a wide variety of foes, each with distinct patterns, strengths, and weaknesses. Success demands both skill and preparation. Engage in reactive melee combat, unleash spells with precision, and adapt your tactics on the fly. Your build matters—but so does how you wield it.
Fatekeeper offers rich progression mechanics that go far beyond surface-level stats. Build and refine your character with meaningful choices across combat styles, attributes, and spell schools. Whether you lean into raw strength, nimble precision, or devastating sorcery, the game supports a wide range of viable and unique builds.
Discover, loot, and master a wide variety of weapons, armor, and artifacts. Customize your loadout to suit your playstyle, and experiment with powerful combinations to overcome increasingly challenging enemies. Every item matters—and the right gear can be the difference between victory and ruin.

Would recommend! First of all the game looks amazing. Something i felt was lacking at first was the loot availability as there are a lot of things that looks lootable but aren't. This might have distracted me to spend way too much time smashing random decorative crates and pots that i know won't give me any loot. Insted the game offers some nice jump puzzles, hidden leavers or paths that lead you to loot like better weapons or armor. Making it rewarding to explore each level a litle extra. The lack of loot also forces you, playing as a big bearded burly man, to slow down when walking through levels in to pick some beautiful flowers because otherwise you get no potions! When looking for loot you also get more time to gaze upon the beforementioned beautiful visuals. The combat feels heavy and is kind of slow. Making it more risky to find room for the heavy attacks and but also offers ways to create openings like kicks or wind and frost magic. There is no killing an entire hoard of enemies in a single blow and if you get ganged on by a lot of enemies they are likely to kill you if you dont disengage. The skill system feels exciting although you dont really get to experience a lot of it in the current early access part of the game. Im excited to come back and play more when the game releases more levels!

Not a review...just wondering when we get controller support. Otherwise its great.

Aowsome dude i wish they add parry and third person view
i've been playing the game for 3 hours and there's a couple of things that could improve the game dramatically in my opinion fix the skill tree, it gives you an option to deallocate but it doesn't work and if you try to just exit out of the skill tree it forces you to save the allocations you have made and also you are forced to choose the health option since nothing upgrades with your level unless you're choosing the skills, once you choose a skill it forces you down that tree and can't add points anywhere else, the default mode on graphics is ultra so the fights were super choppy but i blame that on the gpu i have since once i went down to medium it actually improved but i'd rather them invest into the fluidity of the mechanics and fighting versus graphics personally i don't like that it has no map, i keep running around in place since it has no compass or anything but each area is small but alot of paths maybe i haven't unlocked something yet but i don't get the point of having two handed weapons and one handed weapons if you can't equip two one handed weapons seems like a pointless thing i'm aware the game was made by only 13 people and it was only 10 bucks but i wouldn't have mind paying 20-30 if they just added a little bit more features, maybe bigger maps not like open world map but just something else where you can interact with others in a village and a weapon shop etc etc overall i give it a 5/10 but it can easily go to 8/10 with some features being added
Big guy, big sword. Lots of orcs.
This game is gorgeous. The combat is challenging, nuanced, thought provoking. The exploration is compelling and rewarding. I can't wait to see more.
