About
Venture into a handcrafted world where ruins whisper of past cataclysms. Master the art of sword and sorcery and forge your path with relics, spells and choices that shape who you become in this first-person RPG.
While Fatekeeper follows a focused narrative path, the world invites exploration. From ancient battlegrounds, vast underground caverns and serene forests to crumbling sanctuaries forgotten by time, each area rewards curiosity with hidden lore, forgotten relics, and unexpected encounters.
Battle a wide variety of foes, each with distinct patterns, strengths, and weaknesses. Success demands both skill and preparation. Engage in reactive melee combat, unleash spells with precision, and adapt your tactics on the fly. Your build matters—but so does how you wield it.
Fatekeeper offers rich progression mechanics that go far beyond surface-level stats. Build and refine your character with meaningful choices across combat styles, attributes, and spell schools. Whether you lean into raw strength, nimble precision, or devastating sorcery, the game supports a wide range of viable and unique builds.
Discover, loot, and master a wide variety of weapons, armor, and artifacts. Customize your loadout to suit your playstyle, and experiment with powerful combinations to overcome increasingly challenging enemies. Every item matters—and the right gear can be the difference between victory and ruin.

Really cool game so far. I get why they did early access and for an EA title (which I generally am not that positive about) this is promising. That being said I was saddened to read they will only be doing +- 15 hours of content. This game would probably warrant more than that and if it were a full-fledged 60-100 hour campaign where you basically just muck about and kill things in cool ways I'd be way more excited about it. That said I mean, for 10 bucks right now, can I really complain about 15 hours of content in exchange?
Looks incredible, a lot of potential.
Pretty decent start to something with high potential. The visuals are amazing for a start. Combat feels okay but a bit clunky... Enemy range vs your range feels off, spear I get but the one handed sword guys have way too much reach. Also archers, screw your archers all the way to hell, theyre damage and accuracy is ridiculous at the moment. I want to play this guy like a big chonky viking boy but he feels like he wants to be a agile like dark messiah: might and magic. I reckon you need some sort of parry/counter mechanic cause I dont want to dance around like Peter Pan. I want to ♥♥♥♥♥ slap the enemies weapon away and insert my sword into its head... For the current price, very happy to support and hope you make something amazing. Final note... when I do hit something, the impact effects (sound, visual feedback) feels a bit meh. I dunno about everyone else, but when I play a sword fighting game, I want to get semi arroused but the shlop and whack sound effects as I pummel through fleshy minions. Just a thought.
nice game. Waiting to continue
great, please more :D
I havent finished playing through but had to check it out to see some of the graphics alone. Genuinely breathtaking environments - I have all the graphics on Low thinking my 10+ year old PC couldnt run it, and surprisingly my FPS is fine on low and the game still looks insane. I can see foliage shadows still on, super high poly details everywhere, etc, on the lowest settings, and performing well. I do have a 1080 Ti from back in the day but the card is very dated by now. For $10 it's well worth just being able to walk through and see the environments alone. Personally my first impression for the overal gameplay if im being critical, im not a fan of too much cutscene and tutorial type content at the start of a game - it was maybe a little heavy on that, and maybe a little too much stats/crafting/gathering kind of thrown at you too early which is a bit too much to want to deal with in the first 30 min or so of gameplay for me personally, before id want to start reading stats and crafting things in menus. But, maybe a stylistic difference in what I prefer. Combat systems were actually pretty good, I had read some people didn't like them. I mostly did from what I saw so far. I can see how it maybe feels a little choreographed into the standard block/parry > attack type combos, but I didn't really have an issue with it. Felt similar to oblivion or whatnot which I used to love. Genuinely blown away though by the art/environment and I know how hard it must be to make it happen performantly, the world is truly a masterpiece in my opinion, even speaking from what I saw on Low settings. If you make games/maps/environments you know how hard it is to blend things together just right and make it look this seamless and detailed even at distances without tanking performance, even with Nanite in Unreal and whatnot it's still a tremendous challenge. The scale and atmosphere was spot on, I can barely imagine building this, megascans or not. Definitely worth a lot more than $10, I look forward to playing through the rest of early access, and the full game later on.
