A good wind down hidden object/puzzle game, it's not serious, it's repetitive but it's just a bit of chill
I did not think I would like this, but I did. I have been working my way through my hidden object games this year and this one was farming with hidden object scenes. I thought since it didn't have achievements I would just play it for a little bit and stop, but I played through the entire story mode. I can best describe this game as like 'Farmville' where you farm and buy upgrades for your farm, but in order to help get money for upgrades and while you are waiting for your crops to grow, you play hidden object games in an 'american pickers' style, where the stuff you take from the hidden object scenes you actually sell for money. There is also quests that pop up of people requesting specific items from the hidden object scenes that won't necessarily be in your normal list of things to find. Peridically there are also minigames that pop up like a tetris like organization game, minesweeper, detangling, match 3 cards, and others. The story was also a little fun. I sympathized with the main character who put his farm down as collateral to pay off his wife's medical debt (America problems), and the bank basically hoping he would default on the loan since they gave him a crazy high interest rate and were hoping to build a housing development on his land. Its about trying to win this yearly 'best farm' competition so you have enough money to pay off the bank before it defaults, because that's the only feasible way you can pay off the bank. I was compelled to help this poor farmer for 7 hours of straight gameplay.
Mi novia se re enganchó con este juego, es simple, pero bien hecho, heredas una granja en mal estado, y tienes que ir mejorandola en todos los aspectos. entretenidos para no gamers o una experiencia relajada
I love this game. I've restarted it several times, though I don't think I've had the chance to complete it. It's a simple farming sim, hidden picture, and decorating game all smashed into one. The silly humor is nice as well.
it's good
was fun
I thought it was GOOD for the first 12 hours or so. (I know it says I only played 5 hours, but I played more like 16 hours across three different computers so Steam just didn't record the time properly.) It's casual farming and mini-game fun for a little while. But then there is a built-in mechanic after a few hours that will essentially END YOUR GAME without any warning. So it starts strong, but then it's like someone smashed your head in with a brick as they run past you on the sidewalk. This is an intentional plot decision that the developers made, preventing you from getting your farm more than halfway built. And this is why I recently changed my vote from "yes it's good" to "no, don't play this one." And with that in mind, now I'll tell you my full thoughts on this game. This is NOT a farming simulator/clicker game (not really). It is a combination of several types of mini-games. The main thing is a hidden-object-search game, where you visit various locations around the farm to find objects to sell to the antique dealer for money. Then you can use some of that money to plant crops, feed your livestock, and make general improvements around the farm, all of which will let you sell more in the farmer's market to get more money to continue upgrading the farm. Meanwhile, you occasionally get some event happening that forces you into a mini-game: minesweeper, rotate pipes to connect the flow, wiring diagram - don't let the wires cross, memory (card game), and perhaps a couple of others. So, it's hidden object searches combined with mini-games and farming. Very casual style of play. Fairly easy difficulty level. Quit (and automatically save your progress) at any time. If you just need 20 minutes of mindless fun to take your mind off things before bedtime, this will give you that. ... Right up until about the 12 hour point. You'll notice earlier that the real-estate agent keeps coming by the farm warning you that the mega-corporation wants to buy your land and the town will let them take it unless you make significant improvements to the property. Unfortunately, each sale you make at the market is only good for maybe $30, and each hidden object minigame is only worth maybe $70. Then suddenly the agent comes back and says the town is shutting down your market until you buy blueprints and build some upgrades. Well, at that poin tin the game your next upgrade will cost around $6000. And you probably only have $35 in your bank. Without your main source of income to earn that $6000, you have NO WAY to build that next upgrade so essentially you hit an in-game pay-wall that ENDS YOUR GAME. Just like in real life, when the bank comes to foreclose on your property there is NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT. This horrible fate is inevitable. There is no way to cheese the system to earn money fast enough to keep up with improving your farm, you cannot keep that evil b!t@# off your back. So at that point it's just like, "well, that just happened. can't sell any more crops. mini-games don't pay enough to keep going. guess i'll just quit." Bottom line: starts off casual fun, ends abruptly and frustratingly.
