Farmington Tales

Lots of scenes if you're heavily into Hidden Object games. They're wrapped in a incremental clicker where you grow crops to restore a farm, which I guess is your guardian angel duty because you're not getting paid for it and everyone is either annoying you or actively trying to stop you (with minigames) from helping this kindly old couple.

Es ist eine Mischung aus Wimmelbild und Farming Simulator, die zwar eine etwas veraltete, aber eine trotzdem ansehnliche Grafik hat. Die Wimmelbildszenen sind manches Mal leider Pixeljagd und dienen dazu, alten Krempel aus verschiedenen Gebieten der Spielwelt zu sammeln und zu verhökern oder wichtige Items zu sammeln, um damit neue Gebiete, Gegenstände und Möglichkeiten für die Farm freizuspielen. Die Story ist eher Lala, bringt aber ein klares Ziel ins Spiel. Ich finde, es ist eine gut gelungene Mischung.

I enjoyed this game! Pleasing graphics, good casual gameplay with enough things to maintain on the "farming" front between hidden object tasks. I liked that the hidden object tasks had additional bonus conditions to earn more "points" - for instance, "find the next three items in a row from top to bottom of screen". Only downside is the game felt a little quick to complete, but that's a good indication the game was consistently entertaining.

Fantastic hidden object game similar to Tales of Lagoonia and Settlement Collosus, a lot of replayability and interesting mini games

I played Farmington Tales years ago and enjoyed it then. It has held up well. A good combination of Hidden Object, good story, interesting and goofy characters, and a variety of puzzles. There's not really a way to lose, so it's nice and relaxing and I usually end up humming along with the background music. I did find one of the minigames to be almost impossible after the first few rounds [spoiler] the find the key game is nearly impossible once you get over a dozen cards [/spoiler] but you can buy a skip so it doesn't stall the game at all. And a few of the HO objects are almost impossible to see, one was almost completely hidden behind the market window, and a few of the objects have very picky click targets that can cost a "no mistakes" bonus, but again, not a big deal and true of all HO games. All in all 9.5/10.
