안한글에다가 가끔씩 지역사투리 단어가 나오긴 한데 어렵지는 않아서 눈치껏 알아먹을 순 있음 힐링게임인줄은 알고 시작했는데 생각보다 더 슴슴해서 살짝 지루하기도 함 퍼즐 난이도는 없다시피 해서 워킹시뮬레이션으로 봐도 무관할듯 모델링, 모션쪽도 살짝 아쉬움.. 주인공 보고있으면 조금 무서움 ㅎㅎ 엔딩 이후에 수집요소 표시되는 기능 생기지만 맵이 넓어서 그런지 의욕이 안남..

absolutely gorgeous game. wasn't expecting to cry, did that. also kept falling off cliffs and clipping into walls since i kept jumping were i wasn't supposed to. psa, if you are prone to motion sickness, don't play for over 7 hours straight. trust me, it's not a good idea.

Picture this: you're on a mission from god to herd and corral every wee beastie on the isles of Orkney because the line between order and bleating chaos is as fragile as the morning frost. Unfortunately, to fulfill your holy duty you must be chauffeured around by a human who is going through some grief or something, and you have to help her keep it together so you can focus on the real problem: sheep out of their pens. This introduces some allegorical nonsense and "puzzle platforming" into the mix, but hey you at least get some games of fetch out of it. Ignore the tears streaming down my face. They are unrelated to the best shepherd dog simulator of 2024.

Farewell north is a gorgeous indie about love and loss. The stuff you can do controls-wise is simple and it functions good. There is no death or real struggle here sans the emotions this game draws from you. The story is the selling point. What starts as a simple quest to explore and restore color to the world quickly evolves into more. Grab some tissues, headphones for the music, and re-discover the value of life through the eyes of a border collie.
