Overall a fun game combining resource crafting, survival, and enemies where you move between islands to harvest resources and battle enemies to collect drops. Similar in some ways to No Man's Sky or Satisfactory. Some systems needs more explanation to fully understand interaction, such as decomposing unwanted items to get "Research". Feels like an early access game with potential if it keeps improving. If that bothers you hold off for a while to see if it keeps getting updates to refine gameplay. Graphics were a bit laggy for me on a Ryzen 9 5950X, Radeon VII with 64GB RAM. Sprinting would stutter but improved when looking at the ground instead of the horizon and rendered environment. Was much worse in some biomes. Moving around on your ship can feel a little tedious needing to move between different levels and through narrow corridors but that's a minor nit.
Amazing! I love this game. Beautiful graphics and exciting well thought out game play. It was so much fun and time just flew by! Can't wait to get to the next biome!
Although I like the game mechanics. Its a single player game . I want to make this clear that it doesn't intentionally mislead its audience . The look and feel for it does. Then when you warp to your first planetary drop and you can't sit in your chair of your ship you start to ask questions. Its a RPG with story and exploration but its not a space sim; with infinite exploration we're looking for. I was heartbroken to say the least, because it has this amazing Empyrion Galactic Survival look and feel to it, that I was looking for in a space sim game. I had a talk in the discord, with the development which is a really nice guy . Its not really the direction he's going in but I suggested some sort of space sim exploration mode. I don't think we'll see this any time soon, because he has a development road map going else where with other features for the current game-play. I'm debating on refunding it . Will this ever get added in? I mean it shouldn't be too hard the have all the assets to do this. I wish there was a neutral button because right now I can't really recommend it because its not what I was looking for yet I don't want to just thumbs it down because if it was a single player rpg I was looking for this could be a nice one.
Controls still haven't been fixed with basics like inverted mouse support. Game has numerous bugs. Appreciate the vision, but implementation is far from where it needs to be, and from velocity of change is unlikely to ever get there.
Interesting game and with a lot to do.
Recommended to kill some time and relax. Very impressive considering the development team size.
Warframe 2
This might be a fantastic game, I wouldn't know (although based on other reviews I doubt that). I put in for a refund after the 100% AI generated intro "cinematic" with the default AI male TikTok voice. Picked this up to support an old Skyrim Modder I thought I respected, but after this I don't see myself using their mods either. Lord knows any new ones are going to be AI generated anyway.
Love this game. After 5 hours of gameplay i'm still captive. Congrats devs and many thanks for this game.
there are gliches and the odd getting stuck in the perk side of things but as you can see i like the game :)
