Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.57/day in the week to Jul 30 → 3.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The classic that made eme a fan of the wasteland. And well overdue for a remake. Hey Larian, how bout taking a Crack at it?
I play on GOG too. Fun times. Bought it planning to play all the fallouts I missed in the leadup to Fallout 4's launch back in 2015. Never beat it. Hoping to soon; I have a good run going. There are items on the ground sometimes, and lots of items in the scenery are interactable. Many are containers. Opening inventory uses AP in combat. You have to manually exit combat by clicking the button under the end turn button. Right click to cycle interaction modes. This game basically doesn't need a keyboard apart from character creator. Don't look up a guide on the quests, but don't suffer the character builder alone. Vaults weren't experiments yet, and the enclave didn't exist. That stuff was introduced in F2 iirc. I rate this game a 9.5/10. I don't like ratings, but this one's a shiny gem.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 8: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

the game is pretty fun until you get to the cathedral where the number of enemies makes every turn take 3 years to end and random crits can just insta-kill you whenever the game feels like it no matter what armor you wear
for an older game, it runs very nicely on modern pc. It's a more challenging game compared the other fallout games, but I still enjoy it
I used the Fallout Et Tu mod for my entire playthrough.
Story (4.5/5)
While the main story is fairly simple, it is very effective in the way it is presented. There are almost no cutscenes in this game, so everything you experience happens through gameplay. Every individual town has its own story, which is interesting considering the setting of the game. All in all, the main story, or at least its first half, is an effective way to get the player to explore the other places in the wasteland.
Gameplay (4/5)
Everything about the gameplay is good except for the random encounters and slow animations, even after setting the animation speed to the maximum. The random encounters happen far too often, so what is supposed to be a trip that lasts seconds turns into something that lasts minutes. This is particularly bad since some random raider can get a lucky shot on you and send you back to the start if you do not manually save after every encounter. The slow animations only make this problem worse.
Difficulty (3.5/5)
The game is not balanced very well. To put it simply, it is fairly well balanced at the start and in the middle, but becomes far too easy in the endgame. I played on Hard, and it eventually came down to aiming for the eyes with the Alien Blaster or the Turbo Plasma Rifle.
Game Time (5/5)
You could finish the game in half of my playtime, but I decided to do and explore everything. The only time I felt like I was wasting time was when traveling from one place to another and running into seven combat encounters.
Graphics (5/5)
Way better than the modern Fallout games. The talking heads look so good that I am honestly surprised that no one has tried to emulate that style.
Music/Sound Design (5/5)
There are pretty much no songs except for the intro and the ending. Everything else is ambient sound that gets interrupted by gunfire, and the gun sound effects are perfect.
Performance (2.5/5)
The game could not run properly on my PC without the Et Tu mod. It is an old game, so I guess I should have expected it, but it still is not acceptable.
Price (5/5)
I mean, come on. On sale, it costs less than a sandwich.
Final Verdict (4.5/5)
If I were to recommend someone any Fallout game, it would be Fallout 1 and New Vegas.
