Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.57/day in the week to Jul 30 → 3.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
This game is great for people who love the fallout genre but is a little hard to get into but I feel like its still worth playing even today.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 8: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Such good memories!! Still damn good if you can enjoy old classic games.
good
Always loved the fall out series and the OG games are alot of fun the combination of top down game play and dialogue and weird little references make the game way more enjoyable
cool game. not for everyone tho.
very fun worst companions in series though (except dogmeat)
works on even the older potatoes and is a great game in general
Played it with the quality of life mod Fallot et tu, hence the lack of steam playtime. Fallout 1 was magical for its time, and it still is with how the whole world is simulated. It is much more barebones and empty, than Fallout 2, but it is still a lot of fun. The combat is somewhat janky (some enemies seeing you from the other part of the map with sneak on, and being able to see you, while being blind) and exploitable (entering combat unlimited amout of times to pass enemies). Music is awesome, but feels out of place in some areas (in Fallout 2 it fits perfectly everywhere) and the main plot is thought provoking. Side content is largely lacking though, with many characters not even having much dialogue. All things considered, I feel like Fallout 2 is a much more polished and balanced expirience.
