About
Fairtravel Battle is a fast-paced collectible card game (CCG) with a unique resource system, back-and-forth battles, and game modes for all preferences.
Play with friends or by yourself, without the need to empty your wallet buying card packs or keeping up with a meta.
In Fairtravel Battle, your resources are everything! In this essence-mana system, any card can be placed on the bottom of your deck to gain an essence of your choice among Fervor (
), Life (
), Aegis (
), and Gloom (
), leveling up your ability to play cards, while also granting you mana (
), which lets you play those cards.
The best part? Any card allows you to pick any essence of your choice, so you don't have to lose the cards that matter the most to you! And there are no essence cards, instead every card is usable as a resource!
Got enough mana but need that perfect card? You can always redraw a card by returning a card to the bottom of your deck and drawing a new card instead.
Make your magic run wild with your own custom crafted decks and find cool new ways to make cards interact together.
Battles in Fairtravel Battle aren't going to be one-sided if you play your cards right. With plenty of ways to counter your opponent and with little interruptions, battles are fast and engaging, and with the Explore mechanic, which lets you find a card among the next 5 cards in your deck, you have many more chances to find the cards you need to beat your opponent.
Bring your own decks to battle your friends or bots with up to 3 other players, or team up together and face an even bigger challenge!
Every turn you select among 5 new cards to add to your deck. You never know what you'll get!
Team up with two other champions to defeat the Chaos Keeper in this 3 vs 1 battle! Or Play as the Chaos Keeper and turn things around! Can you beat the champions?
Build a deck by picking cards among booster packs and win as many times as you can to earn fabulous loot!
Open booster packs and find the perfect cards among them to build the perfect 40-card deck and beat the competition!
Play each mode online, offline with bots, host your own local matches, or use Steam lobbies. Fairtravel Battle isn't dependent on hosted servers so it will always be playable offline or online through self hosted lobbies or Steam lobbies.
Create your own custom game modes with your own rules right within the game. Add your own new cards, cosmetics, and card sets through the mod system!
Nobody likes paying a lot of money to enjoy collectible card games or being left behind after taking a break! Fairtravel Battle features no microtransactions for card packs. Any future microtransactions will be exclusively new cosmetic DLC, all future card sets will be free!

If you enjoyed any digital CCG/TCG in the past decade you will like this for at least enough time to justify the price. Collecting Packs. Sealed, Draft, Constructed. Play against CPUs, players or friends. 1v1, 2v2, 3/4 FFA. Buy it!
There are aspects of the game that reminds me of HEX, one of my favorite TCGs ever. I can't wait for a campaign mode and hope the developer has great success. More fun COOP PvE modes please! Give me a reason to tell my friends to play this with me or give me a reason to buy more copies for them!

Just binged this for 6 hours. I played the Demo so I knew I was gonna like this, but wow! This game combines the best aspects of Magic: The Gathering, Hearthstone, Sorcery, and Lorcana into a cute and furry shell with lovely hand-drawn cards and an astonishing amount of card and art variety. It also does 4-way EDH-style multiplayer + variants both with CPU and human opponents. That's super amazing and I can't wait to try a full 4 player human pod. (but comp-stomping with a friend and 2 CPU is also fun) What this game still needs is more juice on the menus and some polish for the deckbuilding UX, these feel a bit stiff. But in-game, the gameplay is smooth and varied. It also ships with perfectly played and flavourful precon decks. The CPU opponents avae pretty decent target and play selection, I'm still a newbie in this game (but not a newbie to CCGs) so they are great opponents. I have yet to try all the modes and build more decks.
I've played quite a bit of the demo already. I was a long-time fan of Hearthstone, but it got too expensive both with time and money to keep up with. I really appreciate what this game is doing, letting you pay one price for the game and offering endless modes of draft, sealed, standard, and even letting you make your own modes to play. It is truly a well put together game and while it may not have the bombastic graphics of some digital TCG's its clear that thought has been put into the design of the cards and game itself. I see myself playing this for a long time even at its current amount of content. Give it a shot I promise you won't regret it!
Amazing indie card game, this is basically mtg arena but with less cards and less predatory practices. This game also solves the design problem with lands via quest cards that are never completely dead draws. Card selection is quite limited at the moment and there are some niche balance issues but I really enjoy it.
I'm into TCGs & CCGs in paper and digital and this is really a gem and a good mix of a lot of famous cardgame like Magic the gathering, Heartstone, Lorcana,... and it's really beginnner friendly... it's just good fun only 3 hours in. give this a chance you wont regret it. Looking forward to what this game has to offer in the future. Will be doing a LANparty in the coming weeks (yes it has LAN and offline capabilities this game!)
A dozen hour into this EARLY-ACCESS game and I fallen in love of how much friendly the game is. Especially the many Single-Player feature. Unlike other CCG that has like premium currency you have grind so much for and many micro-transaction for many card, you don't have to worry about it in this game. And if you looking to get more card, there's a mod workshop. It's small at the moment but I'm trying to mod this game. Hope you have fun! ^_^
Finally, somebody made a CCG similar to Heartstone (And probably MtG), that does not require constant internet connection. Even more, there is no microtransactions! There is also a lot of different gamemodes. AI is decent. Medium was somewhat easy, but Hard is more than capable to beat your ass. Artstyle is cute. And to top it off, this has modding support! This fact all alone makes this game stand out from other CCGs (And I am curious myself how easy it is to mod in here. Maybe I will start adding a lot of cards from Heartstone as example, lol). And while this game is obviously not as polished as some other games of this genre, for Early Access there is a really good foundation.
I've played the demo for around 20 hours, mostly draft since it has the full core set available even in the demo, therefore the demo itself already offers a good chunk of content to play, if you're interested I highly recommend checking it out. The game is a mix of Magic the Gathering (card types, overall structure of the cards and how they work), Hearthstone (you're hero can be equipped with various equipment cards) and Lorcana/Altered for the resource system, so far maybe the best one I played with: each turn you can bottomdeck a card from your hand to either get 1 mana more in your pool that refreshes each turn and 1 essence (one of the for colours of the game, each card requires you to have a certain amount of coloured essence) OR a card draw, meaning you're not throwing away a card forever (you can easily cycle through your whole deck). There is no interaction in the opponent turn, so the game feels quite fast. There are no deckbuilding restrictions, so you can play anything you want. The game has no microtransactions, and the dev confirmed that they're not planning to add any. To prove how little they're interested in microtransactions you can get resources from the demo to use to get cards in the full game. After 20 hours I probably have enough resources to build any deck I want without spending a dime. I almost feel that I'm robbing the dev for how generous this system is. The game isn't without its flaws though, but I can confidently and without problems ignore them (for now at least) since there is a solo dev behind the game and they put they heart in the game (it flows really well) and since it's an early release. Some of the issues are the deckbuilder that lacks any meaningful feature, no ranked or at least some kind of leaderboard for the hardcore card gamers, the UI needs a ton of work in general and the artstyle can feel not that cohesive in some aspects (there are also still some placeholder arts in the game). Overall there is a foundation for a great game, not too complex but still deep enough to reward good deckbuilding and piloting. The dev has my absolute faith in fixing the problems the early access currently has. Except the gameplay, that is already extremely polished.
