Edit: 9/27/22 this game has gone nowhere, the UI is horrible the gameplay is bad, nothing is explained and impossible to PvP. I do NOT believe ANY of these positive reviews are real or they never actually PLAYED the game. or they are just the employees trying to make it look good. I love card games and I always give many chances to make things better, but it doesn't seem like anyone is actually making an attempt, I will keep my eye out on this game but it looks like it is going the way of Seed of the arcane (an abandoned garbage game) (Edit: in contact with developers, and am going to be watching the progress of this game with high hopes to see it become a game I will play regularly, because I love card based games.) (Edit: Made a second video trying to cover the rest of the game options, and have been advised that the Campaign is not available at this time.) Second video will come later but will be available from my youtube channel within a day or so. I am back again reviewing another Infosuccess game, and so far its not that great but not as bad as Seed of the Arcane (look it up) to sum up what went on in this is that its a Cellphone game/port (VERY BAD) NEVER EVER make a game the same from cell to PC, its just bad looking and the interface is bad. even if it is the same game, make it look BETTER on the pc. Common game design Even tho it is a card game basis, it does not seem to rely on the common STAR system that other games use (pretty much cell phone games) it seems to be on the same level. Confusing cards Way to many different skills, and the starter deck is so inconsistent the cards don't work with each other, when it comes to card games and selecting heroes it needs to have some kind of theme, there are too many cards doing so many different things that don't even work together. it needs themes, and you have no idea what the cards are from demons to elemental they need a type system to let novice players understand what cards go with what type. Gold system After playing a bit after my review video I discovered it is damn near impossible to earn gold to buy card packs and when you sell cards they give you only 3 gold... if a card pack is 300 gold... then you would have to sell 100 cards, and that is just overkill on work. its too much work for so little rewards. Campaign, I tried and tried talking to every one and I could not get the campaign button to light up, if you release a game with a campaign, it should have a campaign to play right off the bat. especially if you end the tutorial. Card packs What can I say its typical, but you have no idea what cards are rare, and again the types etc. Cash system (VERY BADLY MADE, PAY TO WIN) The cash system is literally designed to make you buy stuff to make ANY progress... not only that, it is solely designed as a PAY TO WIN. I cannot stress this enough PAY TO WIN is a cash grab, to get people who hate the 1% progress for 500% effort they put in. straight to infinite progress if they have the money to do so. if you have the money, you will always win. There are a few minor points that are pretty typical such as interface placements animations missing, and so forth, but in early access that can be fixed, but my hopes aren't high when it comes to infosuccess. Overall I have to say in its current state, and specially the PAY TO WIN. makes this a game I wont ever want to play. but again if updates are done, I will always do a re-review. Now that all of that is out of the way here is the typical youtube link https://youtu.be/yCVhbyikSdo

Another pay to win game. Advertised as free to play. These monetization scams are plaguing the gaming community!
Very nice concept of a card game! Still on early acces so it needs some work. But the strategy in it, the old school elements and the pure f2p game is really good. I have high hopes for this one as its going out of early acces. ~TIPS DONT spend diamonds. only buy 5000 gold pack. Early game is Hard dont get upset easy! Dont craft any card , keep materials to craft Epic and legendary! Dont forget to send your Generals to quests! Dragon is OP! Dont climb very high to arena, you want be able to progress easy after that! Buy daily items on market always. Good luck!
A great game for card game lovers with excellent features who do not disappoint even the most hardcore ones. It looks like there is a great story lore waiting to be revealed with medieval features magic-knights-pirates-demons and i really cant wait for it. Good competitive play , many strategies to have with deck building and a fan rewarding system .In my opinion it aint close to similar pay to win games and until now strategy and a bit of luck seem to be the key to success. Waiting for more content
Has some good potential! A few tweaks to the UI, and some gameplay and I believe could be a good contender. Enjoyed the time I played.
I have played many different card games and this one can hardly be compared to others as it is truly unique and original, it is way more than a simple card game due to the rpg elements and various features it contains it has great potential depending on how the devs plan to handle it (there are bugs that needs fixing and many things need to be changed to improve the game.) There are many different things to do and unlock in the game, many different game modes and even more maybe to come in the future, keep in mind the game is in development things are being improved and worked on and you may encounter bugs here and there but if you do you can always reach the developpers as they are extremely attentive. I have spent quite some time playing it and i'm well placed to know that the game is not really pay to win and really free to play i have only spent time and i'm amongst the strongest more experienced players. Some great tips were already given by others in the reviews and i recommend you to read them for safe adventures and travel in Shades of Heroes, I would like to add one or two hoping it will be helpful to the beginners: First of all make sure to check in "Locksmithing" often after battles as it is the place where you get your rewards. The best game mode to play to gain the in-game currencies (diamonds and golds) the fastest is called "Tower of Destiny" and you can play it twice i believe each 12 hours (you would have to invest a bit of time doing it and it goes much quicker once you will unlock better cards and get stronger) with a bit of luck and patience you could get the strongest cards in no time and compete against the strongest players and even defeat them, good luck and have fun !
