It's not a bad game per say, but it's incredibly slow and repetetive, there are many better games in the genera out there.

This is so incredible basic, slow and limited in decision making, it'll 100% help you fall asleep. 5th map and you still have to force me through an inanely dumb tutorial. Yeah, no thanks.
A fun and deep fighting system is wasted on a poorly paced plot filled with one-dimensional characters put to the soundtrack of an obvious FFVII knockoff. The art is overwhelmingly forgettable and the dialogue has spelling and grammar mistakes that should have been caught on a simple read-through. If you want something that's like Final Fantasy Tactics but set in a unique world, you might like this. The battle system is both fair and nuanced. Positioning, party composition, equipment, and of course creatures summoned all play their part to make each decision feel like it stands on the edge between success or failure. Individual battles are enjoyable, but it never adds up to anything more rewarding. The gameplay is just good enough to overcome the bad writing, but the overall experience is one of being absorbed in battle strategies just to be pulled out into what feels like the rough draft of a middle-school web comic that's equal parts charm and cringe. 3 out of 5
Good game. Very mechanically dense. Having elemental advantage over enemies is incredibly important. Bosses get more complex as the game goes on so it's important to check what skills they have and so on. Funny thing I did was put the def shred scroll and mana burn jewel on Pichon and watch him shred boss's defence with his 3 hit weapon that reduces def PER HIT. Even his ult, which is one big hit, will count as a multi hit skill as shown in the animation and will reduce boss def into the negatives very easily. There's also a crazy good undead skull fae with the protector wait skill and a passive that regenerates health at the start of it's turn that has 80%(!) damage reduction as long as it's not a back attack which goes a long way in keeping your units alive. The teleport talisman also never left my spell lineup because being able to transport one unit anywhere on the map in a tactics game that gives bonus damage to height difference is really good. Especially since sniper units like Erisolde exist who only has 2 movement (unless using her 2nd weapon). Anyway fun game and really scratched that tactics itch for me.
Solid game with fun mechanics, a nice story, some challenging boss battles and more content than I thought there would be! Definitely recommend it if you're into tactics games.
By far one of the greatest TRPG I ever played, and thats surprising for I played many, and for its made by just two people. Fae Tactics offers a lot of revolutionary sub-systems that lets you highly spec and adapt your team. At the same time, it offers a hard but fair challenge in Hard difficulty, in which you will feel rewared when you success. Treat every scenario as a worthy battle of wits and creativity. Your team is a white canvas that you can highly customize, and there are (a very) lot of valid combinations and synergies at your disposal. Where one strategy may fall, a different approach can make you success. And its up to you to discover it!
He jugado a Disgaeas, FF Tactics, Xcom, Tactics Ogre, Fire Emblem, Advance Wars, The Last Spell... y ninguno me pateo el culo como Fae Tactics.
