Generally I think this game is worth it if you get it on sale. I got the base game + DLC for about 20 bucks, and thus far I'm having fun! TLDR: NPCs are meh, gameplay is fun, Croakia DLC is worth it imo If you play farming sims for the characters I wouldn't recommend it though. You can't befriend the shopkeepers, which feel like a majority of characters left as blank slates. Even the characters you can befriend or romance feel very underdeveloped, though not necessarily stereotypical. Of the two characters I've gotten dates with, they both have "me and the bad ♥♥♥♥♥ i pulled by being autistic" energy. The general gameplay loop is similar to other farming sims, though the Coasts of Croakia DLC adds fun things. I find the fishing annoying, but there is a simplified fishing I haven't tried yet. It's also unique how you have to breed flowers & use special fertilizers to unlock certain vegetables. I like having wings, even if you can't fly with them. It's a little thing that sets it apart from other games as well. I found that the order things unlock is odd. Chapter 3 is the first dungeon, which also includes a grinding for materials quest, but most of the side quests don't unlock until after you complete it, For me the artstyle and fae theme is very appealing so it makes up for the other downfalls, and I've played other farming sims with really good characters, so I'm not too pressed about this one not having the best characters, though it probably limits replayability.
It's still BETA!!!!!!!!!! Enjoy the bugs that this game has to offer and not the catchable ones. Made it to summer. All crops withered including some I transformed (why? They weren't spring crops I'm guessing). Got a dialogue, go plant new summer crops. Go to buy crops, can't get past the dialogue. Exit and reload sort of fixed it. Unfortunately only spring crops are available, no summer crops. So you just plant the same crops season after season? Perhaps they should just deleted the dialogue that tells you to get new crops since they never got that far. I was enjoying it up until this point. Now it just feels broken and boring. Game has been ABANDONED so this will never get fixed. Not going to restart and hope this doesn't happen again. Can't completely any quests regarding seasonal crops because I CAN'T GROW other seasonal crops SINCE THEY'RE NOT FOR SALE!. Also can't BRUSH my animals since the brush never got automatically added into my inventory like it was supposed to. Can't refund this garbage. How is it that this game has positive reviews????? Guessing most reviews are fake to keep it in the positives so suckers like me end up buying it and then can't refund it when you start hitting the various bugs.
This game is so pretty, though I do wish your avatar had more customization options and didn't look so darn silly. So far I've liked the DLC I've tried, though multiplayer can be a little confusing to get to work. A simple game but I'm a little concerned with the sale mechanic; you can only sell a certain amount of items a day, with no selling to NPCs at all, so resources could build up without being able to trim your stock...
The game design and storyline of the game drew in my curiosity and i had to give it a chance. The game gives players a lot of different options to do and achieve in the game, Along with two DLCs that make the experience more pleasurable. I genuinely ended up falling in love with the game and hope others do too!
best cozy game
Magischer Cozy-Himmel: Ein echtes Koop-Highlight!
This is a cute little game, nice & relaxing :)
