Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.86/day in the week to Aug 31 → 2.86/day in the week after.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 8/day in the week to Jul 18 → 3.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Click. Click. Click.
Welcome to FACEMINER, where Every Face Has Value. Your job? Harvest biometric data, upgrade infrastructure, and expand your data processing empire as hard as Planet Earth can take it.
Set entirely within the confines of a vintage operating system, FACEMINER is a narrative-driven incremental management 'click-em-up' that tasks the player with building a planetary-scale biometric processing empire from scratch.
Harvest data, manage software upgrades, and expand your hardware as you rapidly scale your plant’s infrastructure. Ensure profits remain high and avoid bankruptcy (or worse) as you navigate oppressive electricity bills, high-maintenance cooling systems, and crooked politically-enforced carbon offsetting schemes.

Mining alone is no fun! Learn more about your fellow miners and keep up to date with the office gossip through the internal corporate messaging system. Sift through messages to unravel the mysteries – and ultimate plans – of the shadowy creators of the FACEMINER software suite.
Climb the corporate ladder and gradually rise through the ranks as you are promoted from manual data-filtering rookie through to the ultimate harvesting automator as you classify and sell facial data at ever-increasing speeds. The world of data brokering is ruthless, and poor prioritisation can lead to costly mistakes down the line. Do you have what it takes to climb the ranks and become the ultimate FACEMINER?

Featuring a tour-de-force of original 90s-infused tracks by Madwreck . From house to jungle to ambient, the built-in audio player will keep you locked in the zone while you click your way into A.I. history.
Completed the main game? Spend more times in the mines with 'Endless Mode', 'VR Mode' (for full 360 degree immersion), 'Infinite Money Glitch' mode and more.
Remember: Every Face Has Value.

I am struggling to put my experience with this game into comprehensible words, so I'll just leave the message I wrote to myself at the end of the game. _________________________________________________________ Message title: "Why did you make me do this..?" _________________________________________________________ Message content: "I thought I needed to make a living. Now I just realize I was addicted. Addicted to the system YOU made. I caused this...? Because of YOU. I HATE YOU. I HATE YOU SO MUCH. THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT. - FACEMINER Administrator" _________________________________________________________
I'm usually not one for idler games, but this game was pretty awesome. Cool premise and great soundtrack.

Depressing
From: Center #09Q To: CENTER ### Subject: Money, Money, Money! I've been mining faces for only a few hours, who knew it'd be so lucrative! Something tells me it may come back to haunt me, my luck is always at odds. FACEMINER feels like a beckoning fear, the kind that once lived in the soft edges of childhood, when you’d stand at the threshold of a dark hallway and see the pale glow of the television leaking around the corner. It's one of those games where the narrative slowly embraces you with its grasp becoming tighter with every click. It lets you seep into it slowly, with charming music that scratches your brain the same way the general aesthetic does. The way it stirs that quiet ache of saudade or nostalgia. The tender longing for something half‑remembered, half‑imagined, and wholly felt. It explores contemporary topics by translating modern anxieties into its mechanics, atmosphere, and narrative pressure. Its design isn’t just a dystopian aesthetic; it operates as a full commentary engine. Through its clicker‑style loop and retro interface, the game makes you feel the weight of the issues shaping our technological moment. It highlights monetization, exploitation, hustle culture, corporate absurdity, and environmental aspects with a clarity that reaches far beyond what its Steam description suggests. The game doesn’t preach. It draws you in and makes you complicit. Every upgrade, every optimization, every face becomes a small reflect, a facet of the systems we live inside—systems that reward acceleration, punish hesitation, and quietly erode the human presence behind the work. In doing so, the game becomes a mirror for contemporary life, revealing not only what we fear but what we’ve already accepted without noticing. It's a solid 10/10 for me. I highly recommend this game and I'm glad to say I experienced this when I did, I'm very eager to see what's release by this developer next.
