Fable of Sand Paws

Pretty fun. Despite some minor bugs and some usability issues it is a solid game. Very nice inspiration from Captain Toad, yet the graphics stood out for me. I want to see updates and future content, specially as might be very interesting trying to speed run it.

The game is interesting and has challenging puzzles. The visual style is very similar to the game Captain Toad, and it reminds me of Nintendo games. Despite some issues, the game is fun.

플랫폼을 움직여 고양이탐험가가 별조각까지 도착하게 하는 퍼즐플랫폼게임입니다. C, A, T 알파벳 세 개를 모으는 추가 도전요소도 있구요. 별까지만 가는 거라면 상당히 쉬운 편이고, 알파벳 세 개를 다 모으려면 상당히 동선이 복잡해지는 구조입니다. 게임 자체는 귀여운 케릭터를 움직이는 무난한 퍼즐플랫폼이지만, 여러 가지 문제점이 있어서 썩 즐길 만하지 못했습니다. 일단 게임이 미완성입니다. 게임소개영상에 보이는 스테이지 중 게임 본편에서는 보이지 않는 것들이 있습니다. 도전과제에 동굴스테이지 클리어라고 있던데, 동굴스테이지가 본편에 없군요. 화살표 있는 블럭도 게임 본편에서 안 보이구요. 업데이트로 추가하려는 걸까요. 다른 무엇보다 가장 짜증났던 건, 조작감이 심각하게 안 좋습니다. 마우스커서 움직이는 것도 느리고, 플랫폼을 마우스커서로 클릭하고 움직이는 사이에 약간의 지연시간이 발생하는 것도 상당히 불편합니다. 그리고 플랫폼을 클릭해 움직일 때 마우스 움직이는 거리의 절반도 움직이지 않구요. 플랫폼 조금 길게 움직이면 마우스패드를 벗어날 정도로 움직여야 합니다. 클릭한 손가락 떼면 원래 마우스커서 움직였을 거리까지 커서가 쑥 날아가 있는 것도 굉장히 거슬렸습니다. 플랫폼 움직일 때 방향별 감도가 크게 차이나는 것도 괴상했구요. 좌우 움직이는 건 무난한데, 아래로 내리는 건 지나치게 민감해서 쑥 움직여 버리고, 위로 올리는 건 마우스패드 벗어날 정도로 움직여도 반응하지 않는 경우가 다반사고, 조작감이 정말 괴상합니다. 고양이 움직임도 굉장히 느린데다, 시야 중심점이 무조건 고양이 위치로 고정이라 화면 끝까지 축소해서 다른 면을 보려 해도 시야가 불편해서, 게임이 전체적으로 답답합니다. 특정 위치에 고양이가 있으면 플랫폼이 제대로 움직이지 않거나, 원래 버튼 위에 블럭을 놓아둬야 할 것을 블럭 회수해도 버튼이 눌린 상태로 있는 등 버그로 보이는 현상도 많습니다. 후반부 사막 스테이지, 버튼 누를 블럭 하나만 챙기면 나머지 블럭들이 죄다 의미가 없어지는데, 분명 의도한 거랑은 다를 겁니다. 스테이지 누락이나 버그는 둘째 치더라도, 게임이 뭔가 VR로 내놓으려던 걸 급하게 마우스조작으로 변경했다는 느낌입니다. 비슷한 게임들을 몇 가지 해봤는데, 저 괴상한 조작감, VR이었다면 다 해결됐을 것들이니까요.
