I played FEAR 1 and 2, as well as the DLC. These games aren't known for their plot, but for their atmosphere and gameplay, both of which are enjoyable. However, the plot of this game is so stupid that it completely destroys the horror aspects and any sympathy for the main protagonists. If you played FEAR 2, you'll be angry. The gameplay is designed to frustrate rather than entertain. In previous games, you could advance by pushing, but here, most of the time, you have to defend against hordes, even though, according to the plot, you should feel more powerful than ever. It's designed to be played co-op, so the single-player mode is lackluster. They didn't create an AI for solo play — you just play alone the whole time. Other annoying things were the fact that there are only two slots for guns (in previous games, you could have more, which was fun) and the constant pop-ups for achievements for everything you do in the game, which ruin the atmosphere instantly. Unless you have a friend to play co-op with just for fun, I can't recommend this game, especially to those who have played the previous games. Don't expect the gameplay or plot to be enjoyable; only your time spent with a friend could justify it.

It's ok game with good run and gun action. A bit old for todays standards, i would look elsewhere if i didn't already own it in 2026. I recommend buying it on deep sale, 5 euros and under.

Si bien se podria decir que mejora en jugabilidad. En lo que respecta a historia y sobretodo el terror, el juego decae demasiado. Los anteriores FEAR tampoco eran top en narrativa, pero al menos tenian una atmosfera de terror mucho mas unica. Aqui se basa mas en sustos y enemigos feos, los momentos de tension verdaderos son pocos y no tan buenos como el FEAR 1 y 2 Lo recomiendo si ya jugaste el 1 y 2, pero si no has jugado ninguno de los dos anteriores, ni toques este.
Total hot garbage. I expected more of the same style of gameplay, but this? I don't know what this is. hordes of opponents that seem to always flank and kill. Even on easy mode I get my ass handed to me. what a frustrating pile of garbage. According to others reviews this game will continue to disappoint with gobs and gobs of enemies. I don't like the style or the gameplay. If this didn't come in a bundle, I wouldn't have bought it. Yes, I realize it's 15 years old.

เล่นแบบไม่คิดอะไรมากก็ถือว่ายังเพลินๆ อยู่แต่อาจจะเริ่มเบื่อๆ ช่วงประมาณกลางเกมได้ เพราะมันอาจจะจำเจไปหน่อย แต่ถ้าชอบเนื้อเรื่องก็อาจจะไปต่อได้ยันจบ แต่ถ้ามีเพื่อนเล่นก็บันเทิงใช้ได้
