Eh it's not exactly like the first (+expansion packs) and second games but it's still good on its own in a way, the levels are not bad but the gameplay is really awkward and weird, plus some of the sequences are way too repetitive and boringly designed, you get bored fast, also a lot of cheap jumpscares which wasn't even the point of FEAR games, they had few, but this one has way too many. The co-op is fun if you have a friend I remember playing that for the achievements. It was made by a completely different team and clearly they had issues creating as good of a gameplay as the other ones. I'll recommend it barely a 7/10. The FEAR series needs a reboot, or something completely different for the next one IF there will be, I can't imagine anything else, we don't need remakes. I doubt it will ever make a comeback though, this one killed it off due to how bad it was compared to the old ones.
