I’m going to recommend this one but I’m going to mention a huge caveat that IS said on the store page, but I think it needs to be in large text in all caps lol. You NEED space to play this game. I’m talking about a 6x6 square of free walkable space AT LEAST. Even if you have this exact amount of space, you will need to be careful of hitting your walls or anything that would be on the border of this space. I had about this much space and I hit walls a few times, my monitor was in danger. You HAVE TO move around and rotate your body. You CAN’T use the thumbstick to turn or move in anyway and there is NO setting in the game to make this a thing. If you’re using a wired headset like me, you will get a little tangled in it sometimes. Okay now that that’s out of the way here’s what I liked: Eye of the Temple is like one huge gigantic complicated puzzle. Its design is very impressive especially considering the dev team is very small (handful of people). The graphics are pretty and the sound is okay. The game play was satisfying but I did feel some of the puzzles were on the annoying side. What I didn’t like: First and foremost, not being able to move or turn using the analogue stick. I totally understand that the game is meant to be played using room scale but come on. It’s 2025 and this has been a feature in almost every VR game ever made. It doesn’t need to be the default but at least hide the option in the menus somewhere. You’re alienating a huge majority of VR gamers which is already a small batch of people among all gamers. I mean if you look at the percentage of achievements, 5% of people that have this game have seen credits. That should speak volumes. Anyways moving on..the story is super bland but honestly that’s not why you’re playing this game. The whip could use a little tweaking. I found it a tad frustrating to use to pull switches. This became exceptionally annoying in some puzzles where you’re timed and risk dying. Overall this was a fun experience for the most part. The main story is short but it didn’t overstay its welcome. There were some other challenges offered like speed runs, and apparently there are some secret hidden areas to find to unlock a few achievements. I have zero interest in jumping back in to try and find these as maneuvering around the temple to search for anything is slow. The game might be worth the full price tag of 20 bucks but I suggest getting it on sale if you think you’ll enjoy this one. AGAIN MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A LOT OF SPACE!
The game makes you punch walls. Everything was fine the first time I played this. My play area is bigger than recommended (I have 4x4 meters) and I started playing while standing right in the center. I could move around and use the whip in the whipping areas with the confidence that I would not run into walls or punch them. But the game fell apart my second play session. I started by standing in the center, loaded the save game, stood on the feet symbol at the ground and ... I now constantly have to step onto blocks that are half in the wall, or have to swing my whip when standing right next a wall. Restarting the game didn't help, and there is no option in the settings to reset/redefine the center of your play area. I assumed the game is smart and always analyzes your VR boundary to make things work, but I guess I was just lucky the first time, and that things break apart when the spot where the game auto-saves/loads you in the game is not the center of your VR boundary ( a whipping area). The game was fun so far, but three wall punches are enough. I'm not gonna risk damaging my posters or hurting my fingers any further. Maybe the dev should have a look at "Tea For God" and see if he can learn any lessons on how to handle this better. Can't recommend this at the moment, but would highly recommend this once the issue is patched.
Это, наверное, единственная VR игра в своём роде доведённая до ума и где каждый уровень продуман до мелочей. Рекомендую открыть все достижения, чтобы попробовать весь контент в игре, который иначе легко пропустить.

Challenging puzzle game that uses a 3x3 grid of playspace to avoid typical VR locomotion (like teleports or analog stick). Basics are easy to learn but the levels get progressively harder to keep you on your toes. Dodging flames, whipping enemies, and making quick movements to avoid obstacles. Definitely worth a buy
This was such a smooth and optimised experience that I loved it. It reminded me of Prince of Persia and Indiana Jones vibes. The whole setup was great. I could see a team up with the pop or Indiana Jones devs using the same format but replacing the whip/fire with a sword/gun for some melee combat sequences .
great game. innovative use of playspace. a bit repetitive but not too much, every time you start to get a bit bored there is an interesting new mechanic waiting around the corner
