Circa 790 AD. A small band of Norse warriors lands on the shores of England. History may have forgotten their names, but their actions live on. As the chieftain of your clan, let ambition guide your choices in the party-based RPG Expeditions: Viking. How will history remember you?

Reviews
Not remembering where nor when I got this game, I came across it and started playing. The first minutes were mostly filled by story and I was a little sceptical about both the round-based fighting and hexagon tiles for movement. The next 10 hours felt like short moments, writing your own story. The very lively details led to feeling, like the story of the hero was one that I actually wittnessed and adventures I got to undertake with my friends. It was hard going to bed or doing chores. Would have loved a bit more music and sounds, as they'd have given great moments additional depth. The lack of possibilities to heal and eat inside cities, as well as problems with locations of my fighters in the beginning of battles, where a bit hard sometimes. But with additional saving and loading, nearly all problems where solved. The only thing that I could not work out was how to defintely NOT kill, but bring an enemy down.

Every market we collect.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1/day in the week to Aug 8 → 0.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Aldder! Ich habe 20 Minuten Text gelesen, wie das Spiel gesteuert wird, ohne irgendeine "Action" Schade, aber ein wenig Spielspass in den ersten 20 Minuten sollte drin sein.
this here is one of those "Underrated Gems", great story, vikings, and its an RPG Trifecta of goodness I recommend trying out the other games Expeditions: Rome and Expeditions: Conquistador, the latter is a bit dated but still has a story to get you interested, Rome is Rome. Imagine spartans and cool battles, more recent, highly recommend
Interesante. Me ha gustado menos que Expeditions: Rome, pero sin duda merece la pena si te gustan los combates tácticos. Lo he jugado en dificultad "difícil", y ha sido todo un reto.
feels like a cheaply made half product, like one of those asset dump games but with slightly more effort.
It's an okay game. It's got a good story and likable characters. The strategy is somewhat lacking sometimes, especially since you can't prepare your skill slots out of combat, nor can you move skills from one row to another. It also has a very basic base management, where the only important thing is to decide whether go Power or Prosperity and to remember to start working on your next project as soon as the former one is finished. I went a mix of both and ended up with 98 prosperity and 113 (or something like that). One tip that I can give new players, which I learned a bit late in-game: build the armory as soon as possible, since at tier 3 it gives you 3 hide per week, plus a few armor stands to loot which can in it's own get you extra hides if you decide to dismantle them. Salvage is relatively easy to obtain lots of, the problem being that hides are difficult to find, and a tier 4 armor will cost like 90 hides or something like absurd like that. Just to make it clear, a wolf might drop max 3 or 4 hides, if it remembers it's supposed to have meat, hide and fat (grease). Overall, as a strategy game its worse than the XCom or Shadowrun series, but the scenario, the setting, the characters and the story make up for it.
Mmmm...no.

Today is not a festival. I want to buy a sex theme. Although I can't give you anything, I will bless you in the dark! Expeditions: Viking is like a Viking raiding party that's surprisingly good at diplomacy. The game's graphics are like the fjords of Norway, beautiful and serene, yet full of danger and adventure. The soundtrack is like the pounding of drums in battle, urging you forward into the fray. The game's story mode is well-written, with engaging characters and a deep political landscape that will keep you invested in the game's world. It's like Game of Thrones, but with fewer dragons and more horned helmets. The game's combat system is also well-done, with tactical depth and a variety of skills that make each battle exciting. However, the game can be a bit of a slog at times, with a lot of micromanagement required to keep your Viking village thriving. It's like being the chief of a Viking tribe, but with more paperwork and less pillaging. The game's pacing can also be a bit slow, with long stretches of peaceful exploration punctuated by intense battles. It's like sailing the high seas, but with fewer sea monsters and more political intrigue. Overall, Expeditions: Viking is a solid game that's worth playing for fans of Viking history and strategy games. It's not without its flaws, but it's a fun way to step into the boots of a Viking chieftain and carve out your own legend. With that in mind, I give Expeditions: Viking a score of 8/10, which is like being a Viking warrior who always manages to find the loot but sometimes forgets where he put his horned helmet.
Excellent. True RPG experience. Thank you Logic Artists team.
