For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I've always been obsessed with Roman history. I've recently finished Colleen McCullough's Masters of Rome series, and so I played this game with that story still firmly in the back of my mind. When I had a closer look at this game on the Steam page, I saw that it featured Fire Emblem like turn based combat, but, notably, it mentioned that you controlled a legion of your own. It's this last thing that really sold me. I've always particularly loved Roman military history, so commanding your own legion in an RPG just seemed so perfect for me. The only thing I was anxious about heading into this game, was 1) how closely it would follow history and 2) how it would tie in with the historical giants of that era. The person I immediately thought of was Caesar; logic dictates that there would be a campaign in Gaul (how could there not be) so I wondered how we as the player would fit into a campaign led by Caesar, and whether we would get the choice to either side with Caesar or with the senate. Without spoiling anything, that question got answered quite quickly
when Caesar gets offed in the first real battle of act 1, so suffice it to say, you are the main character of this particular version of Roman history
. Although the game does take some liberties, it does follow history quite well, and I for one really enjoyed those moments where you have that Leonardo DiCaprio moment of pointing at the screen when you see something that happened in actual history too. I really liked the legion combat and how one can choose different stratagems for each phase of the battle. If there is one regret, it's that we never get to command more legions
you get command over two in total eventually but you never get to take more than one into any particular battle
in your campaigns. Caesar needed more than 9 legions to conquer Gual. Lucullus did absolutely crush the numerically superior armies of Pontus and Armenia in the 3rd Mithridatic War (before Pompey took away his command for himself) with a much smaller army, but he still had more than two legions. I suppose the main character doing it with such a small force just means you're the singular greatest commander ever. In the end, I'm happy I bought and played this game. I got every ending and each one was quite unique. When I first played the game, I had a look through the achievements, and I saw the Gaius Octavius achievement. I immediately knew that I had to pursue that ending first.
I consider the Gaius Octavius ending the best, but the Cincinnatus ending is a close second.
Хороши персонажи и пошаговые бои. И, на мой вкус, хорошо выдержана историчность.
Hidden gem of turn-based strategy. I bought this on discount and didn’t expect much, but the game got me hooked. Now I feel like I robbed the developer. The combat is really fun. I just finished my first playthrough on max difficulty with Ironman mode, and every fight feels intense. Your choices really matter in this game like, really matter. Things you think won’t affect your playthrough all come together when the story unfolds. I really enjoy the combat and want more of it. That said, there is some boring grinding in each act, but it’s acceptable and optional. Since I chose max difficulty with Ironman mode for my first playthrough, it pushed me into farming all the resources needed to upgrade my characters. It feels very satisfying when your party executes combos correctly. The only thing I want to complain about is that I want more combat, PLEASE give me more in a sequel (or probably your next game).
if you plan to use gamepad for this game, i suggest you to close this page and go get another game. GAMEPAD feature dont even have a BASIC "SNAP" feel when selecting other party member. It Feel Floaty, yuck. uninstal after 57 hours in mid chapter. will not buy from this dev. again.
Good game, expected more from the successor to Expeditions Viking but, still great fun. The story starts generic but it gets much better and its coherent and engaging. Game mechanics are overall improved. Music and sound effects are the same style but more epic, it really hits you when you are storming the city as your legions cry out ROMA INVICTA! The historical accuracy and attention to detail surely will surprise history buffs. Get ready to role-play a Roman Legate in this refreshing isometric RPG! Overall Score: 8/10
Great game. Great story. Cool soundtrack, especially during major battles. And major battles are solid; one feels like they are really between your whole legion and an opposite army. It was a real treat to play an RPG (which we have scarce, unfortunately) in a Roman setting, even if it was an alternative history. I hope we will see more games like this one because Rome has such a rich and impactful history. ROMA INVICTA!
