Expeditions: A MudRunner Game consegue pegar na fórmula clássica de exploração off-road e levá-la para outro nível. O foco na descoberta, planeamento e navegação torna cada missão muito mais interessante e estratégica. Não é apenas conduzir — é realmente pensar no terreno, no equipamento e na melhor forma de ultrapassar os obstáculos. Os mapas são incríveis de explorar e a física dos veículos continua impressionante. Lama, rios, rochas e inclinações fazem cada percurso parecer uma pequena aventura. Gostei especialmente da sensação de progresso e da preparação das expedições, que dá uma componente quase científica à experiência. Visualmente também está muito bonito, com ambientes detalhados e uma atmosfera excelente para quem gosta de exploração e natureza. É um jogo calmo mas ao mesmo tempo desafiante e muito satisfatório quando conseguimos completar objetivos difíceis. Recomendo bastante a fãs de simulação, off-road e exploração. Se gostaram de MudRunner ou SnowRunner, este jogo merece mesmo atenção.

All the hate this game gets is from Snuwrunner fanboys who expect it to be a "Snowrunner 2" without trying to understand this game. While it may not be the best game ever, the UI got a lot of improvements over time and so many quality of live features have been added. Unlike Snowrunner in which you have entire fleets of copy paste 6x6 american trucks, Expeditions focuses on having fewer trucks, but with much more variety, each truck here feels different and has it's own character. It's gameplay is about exploration which it does pretty well, there are no roads, so you have to find your way through the difficult terrain yourself. Instead of slowly driving through mud for hours like in Snowrunner, you have to crawl rocks in Expeditions, so Expeditions feel like an actual offroad game. It's also much more visually pleasing, due to it's richer and more vivd colors and aesthetics. There are also many useful and fun to use gadgets, such as metal detectors, drones, ground drones, which i absolutely adore, tire pressure, echo sounders etc. Expeditions is all about the journey, not the destination.
