Have you ever invented your own worlds? Perhaps you managed to think out one of them so well that you literally immersed in it? Sometimes, when the soul is badly bad, you just want to take it and find yourself in a fantasy world where everything is fine, but there are no problems. But ...

Nice job with this game, really nice experience, cheap and also very good and aesthetic looking
This game is a very intetesting first person puzzle game. It may be hard to find where you're going at times due to how there's only words on the menus, and cutscenes ocasinally, but you can get an idea on what your doing from your surroundings. The only two downsides I have is that there's no settings that you can change at all, and the boxes when you pick them up spin like crazy sometimes, but other than that it's a good game.

Have you ever imagined a world so vividly that it began to feel more real than reality itself? A place born entirely from your thoughts, carefully shaped into a sanctuary untouched by pain, fear, or disappointment. When life becomes unbearable and emotions begin to weigh too heavily on the soul, the temptation to escape into a fantasy of your own creation becomes almost impossible to resist. In that imaginary world, everything feels peaceful. Problems no longer exist, suffering fades away, and the harshness of reality loses its power over you. It becomes a refuge where you can finally breathe without fear. But what happens when the darkness inside you follows into that world as well? What begins as a beautiful escape slowly transforms into something far more dangerous. The emotions, fears, and unresolved pain you tried to abandon do not disappear. Instead, they seep into the fragile reality you created, poisoning it from within. The fantasy starts to collapse under the weight of your own inner turmoil. Structures crack apart, environments distort, and the once-safe world begins to unravel in horrifying and unpredictable ways. The sanctuary that once protected you now traps you inside its decaying ruins, forcing you to confront the very emotions you tried to escape. The game places players inside this crumbling dreamscape through a surreal blend of three-dimensional platforming, puzzle-solving, horror, and fluid parkour movement. Exploration becomes more than simply traversing environments; it becomes a desperate struggle to survive inside a world that is literally falling apart around you. Players must leap across unstable structures, navigate impossible architecture, and overcome dangerous environmental obstacles while the boundaries of reality continue to fracture. Every movement feels tied to the instability of the world itself, creating constant tension between progression and collapse. The platforming mechanics are designed around both precision and momentum. Running across collapsing pathways, climbing distorted geometric structures, and jumping through surreal spaces creates a strong sense of vulnerability and urgency. Some areas require careful timing and patience, while others force players into frantic movement sequences where hesitation can become deadly. The parkour-inspired traversal system gives the experience a fluid rhythm that contrasts sharply with the oppressive atmosphere surrounding the player. The faster you move through the environment, the more the world seems to react, as though it is alive and struggling to contain its own destruction. Puzzle-solving plays an equally important role throughout the journey. The world is filled with abstract obstacles and environmental mysteries that require observation, logic, and interpretation rather than straightforward solutions. Many puzzles feel symbolic in nature, reflecting emotional themes connected to memory, fear, loneliness, and psychological instability. Rather than simply testing intelligence, the challenges encourage players to immerse themselves in the surreal logic of the collapsing world. The environments themselves often become part of the puzzle, shifting shape and perspective in ways that constantly challenge the player’s understanding of space and reality. Visually, the game embraces a striking style of geometric surrealism that gives the world a dreamlike and deeply unsettling identity. Massive abstract structures float within endless voids, impossible stairways twist into infinity, and minimalist landscapes transform unpredictably between beauty and horror. The environments feel less like real locations and more like fragments of thought given physical form. Shapes, colors, and architecture constantly evolve to mirror the protagonist’s deteriorating mental state, creating a visual experience that feels hypnotic, alien, and emotionally oppressive all at once. Horror elements emerge naturally through atmosphere and psychological tension rather than relying entirely on direct threats. The world itself becomes the source of fear. Silent corridors suddenly distort without warning, distant echoes fill empty spaces, and familiar environments shift into grotesque reflections of themselves. There is a constant feeling that reality is unstable, as though the entire world is moments away from completely collapsing. The horror comes not only from what the player sees but from the realization that the fantasy world is dying because of the very person who created it. The deeper players travel into this surreal landscape, the more personal and emotional the experience becomes. The collapsing environments begin revealing fragments of hidden truths connected to the protagonist’s past and emotional state. The fantasy world slowly exposes itself as more than a simple escape from reality; it becomes a manifestation of unresolved pain, guilt, fear, and emotional isolation. Every shattered structure and distorted pathway symbolizes a mind struggling to maintain control over emotions that can no longer remain buried. At its core, the experience is a psychological journey about escapism and the dangers of abandoning reality without confronting personal suffering. It explores the idea that fantasy worlds, no matter how beautiful or comforting, cannot remain untouched by the emotions of the people who create them. The more the protagonist attempts to hide from pain, the more violently the imaginary world begins to decay. What was once meant to be a sanctuary gradually transforms into a prison built from fear and emotional instability. By combining surreal visual design, fluid movement mechanics, environmental puzzles, and psychological horror, the game creates an experience that feels emotionally immersive and deeply symbolic. It is not simply about surviving inside a strange world, but about confronting the consequences of trying to escape reality entirely. Beneath the abstract architecture and collapsing dreamscapes lies a haunting exploration of loneliness, emotional fragility, and the terrifying realization that sometimes the worlds we create to protect ourselves can ultimately destroy us from within. The exact opposite of good. EXIST consists of: boring kindergarten "puzzles" with busted, screwed physics. Cutscenes that drag on forever and have absolute nonsense dialogue (I don't believe English is the author's first language but there's no other language options?). Absolutely no settings or graphics options (like perhaps a setting to turn-off the awful nauseating head-bobbing garbage or the effects on one level near the end that make it so dark and muddy you literally cannot see a foot in front of you). I physically rolled my eyes when the ending screen came up. Apparently one of the levels is completely unbeatable due to a glitch and the game has, of course, been abandoned by its dev. But no worries: nearly any puzzle in the game can be broken by literally just standing on top of a cube and grabbing it (which lets you fly) :^)
A cool concept executed poorly. The boxes spin like crazy when you pick them up, the jumps are frustrating to pull off, the puzzles are too simple and some levels may be buggy. I really liked the visual design and the light surrealist horror feel, but I can't recommend this.
