[h1]Experienced on the Oculus Rift with Touch Controllers[/h1] This is a stand still magic-based 180 wave shooter. This is not a good game. I was trying to figure out if maybe this game was geared for kids and, therefore, might be recommendable for kids, but nah, it's just bad. It starts out a little too easy. The first three levels are a breeze. Then you get to the fourth (and final?) level and it was basically impossible for me. Mostly because that fireball spell is necessary but aiming with it is pretty difficult. You basically need to hit your target in your first try or you'll be overrun by enemies. It's not just that it's a stand still wave shooter, it's that the controls are wonky. For the first spell you just point and click with your wand. Then for your second spell you point at the ground and this magical shield covers you. Then your third spell you point at the sky and lightning comes down (this spell is also difficult to aim but since you don't need it it really doesn't matter). Then the firespell you point to your side and then sometimes you see a reticle but in the heat of battle you'll never see that thing and it just goes off somewhere. Finally, you have a shield that you just grab the air and hit trigger and appears in that arm. Enemies just basically walk straight towards you. The problem is some have shields that take more powerful spells to take down quickly (fire spell). There's also this statue that throws some green vomit at you. Your shield blocks projectiles and enemies directly in front of it. However, it can break or enemies can sidestep the shield (eventually). It's just not a fun game. The controls are supposed to be easy (instead of gesture based spells), but I found them either boring or cumbersome to use. The graphics are okay if the target audience is kids, but these are static, lifeless environment (although at least they seemed like original assets). The animations are wonky. You have Wilfred, your magical guide, but his mouth doesn't move during the voiced dialogue which is just basically a tutorial on how to use the 4 different spells + shield. [b]Rate 3.5/10. $20 for this is kind of crazy. I got this in a VR bundle or I would have refunded this so quickly. It's at most a $1.99 game and meant only for those kids who are on Santa's naughty list (it even has a Christmas theme for them)[/b]

-Expensive for a wave shooter -Overused/lazy Idea Idea -Bad, extremely annoying Voice overs -Wave Shooter 2/5 Not a terrible Wave shooter if this had come out when VR first started. But not a lot of content for price, it's a lazy cashgrab format, the voice overs are extremely irritating, along with the sound effects. This game should cost 2€ at most - it's a super super basic wave shooter. Something that would usually comes out of a game jam. I would not post this review if the developer had not had the audacity to put it up for 16,79€
