Reviews
good and fun space exploration good space combat excellent with a controller likeable characters :) some endgame content there too!
This is going to steal my time I do not have.

Great game. Looks like a remastered Privateer. Visuals are great, key mapping is flexible, flight is a little squishy even with all the variables tightened down, good story line, decent fight balance. The game crashes *multiple* times per hour, sometimes rebooting the machine, and always during the screen transitions if you use the Unreal Engine setting in Graphics/Upscaler. I'd avoid it if you want to be able to play the game without irritation.
I do recommend the game because its initially pretty fun... however.. its one of the most tedious, boring stories I've ever played. I had to force myself to continue to play it again after a year break and now forcing myself to finish.. i dont know if i can because the constant, pointless running around from the missions never ends... just go here, go there, do this, do that... and pointless... it really doesnt amount to anything in terms of progression. just another thing to add to give it content i guess? its just tedious and its the same type of thing over and over. There's no richness to it. its really disappointing. The first Everspace is WAY better than this and pretty basic. This is a classic case of: Less is more. But Everspace2 doesnt understand that. its just...flood you with so much crap...that it just de-values the game content. Open-space / open-world is awesome.. but just keep it simple. kinda like freelancer or privateer. this is just.. i mean.. not sure what they were thinking here. at 200+ hours in i just skip the boring stories now to try to get the game to the finish-line that seems to have no end in sight........disappointing
Recomendo, 10/10!
Love it. Great story and nice RPG elements
