Game kinda cheeks
I wanted to like this game. Sadly if you want to play HOTAS or HOSAS it is unplayable. Constant issues with keybinds and inputs. Play it on gamepad and you might have a good time but that is not for me and that is not why I bought this game. Also missing VR support but that is just something I would like, not a reason for negative review.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Once you dial down the mouse controls it's a great game. Natural successor to Freelancer and similar storyline & feel. Crashed once in 222 hours.
был олдом игры еще до того как папич "прорекламил"
Na medida certa!!! No Mans Sky poderia copiar esse estilo de jogabilidade de voo espacial e as briga de naves!
Летабельно
Got base game without addons for sale. Looks cool, performs well, proper mouse + keyboard support, but "hold esc to undock" - screams about controller first (sadface) ES2 reminds me Freelancer and Starpoint Gemini series, unlike ES1 So far looks like 7.5 / 10, if you play it in small sessions
If you loved 2003's Freelancer, this will be a welcome blast from the past. Pros - Visuals. Space looks great and the explosions and weapon effects are very satisfying. Some of the vistas are genuinely breathtaking. Ships are highly detailed and the engine overall is very polished. It also ran great on my rig with high FPS with everything maxxed out. - Combat. If you're not ready for it, it can be a little disorienting at first, but this is true zero-G space combat. You can adjust interial dampening if you'd rather not go flying around all over the place. There's lots of options too. You can grab a little scout fighter and fly around super fast or an enormous gunship and tank all the damage while dumping DPS on enemies. Up to you. - Ship customization. It's not that deep, but it's fun to swap cosmetic modules around and change paint schemes to fit your taste. You DO have to find modules and colors out in the game world, though. Cons - Voice acting. This is something the game has in common with Freelancer. Some VAs aren't that bad, but more than half aren't good. Bonus if the character has a regional accent. - Cutscenes. I'm not a fan of the "motion comic" cutscenes, but they get the job done. - Occasional difficulty spikes. - Some features like fast travel (which you have to unlock via a quest) are poorly explained. It looks great, building out your ship is a lot of fun and there aren't many 6DOF combat sims like this.
Its Freelancer without the exploration
