About
Ever War is a turn-based strategy game where you manage settlements and armies to lead your kingdom to victory over your opponents. Raise great armies to destroy all who oppose you, secure access to valuable resources and conquer the realm.
Manage the expansion of your empire, supervising all aspects of each of your settlements including population growth, constructing buildings, army training and trade between settlements. All entirely based on your own preferences and playstyle.
March into battle with a complex system that allows you to command armies up to hundreds of troops. Use the unique abilities of your units to create unbeatable formations, set up devastating ambushes, and take advantage of favorable terrain along with other strategies to ensure victory for your faction.
Lead one of three unique factions in the conflict for control over this realm. Medlend, the kingdom of knights and Princes, the true rulers of this realm despite their constant strife from invaders and secessionists. Kursians, a race of highly numerous rodents from the great forests of the far east whose goal is endless expansion. Boraeloth, tribes of half giant raiders of the cold north whose lone wish is to pillage the cities of the civilized world.

There is a lot to like about this game. I'm not sure about the development of the game, but clearly the first official game from this dev and it is a solid start. The game is priced well for all the content you get. The 3 factions are really different with their own unit roster and buildings. Very thematic for sure. The user interface is very workable, doesn't take long to get used to it. You could really expand from this solid based game with more factions and maps. I would certainly look forward to that.
Highly recommend this game. Deceptively simple, the strategy you need to implement will keep you on your toes as you desperately try to keep your kingdom together. Very nice Warmaster/Warhammer vibes. Game art is perfect, very charming!
Pretty good for it's price. If you like turn based tactic and strategy then this is a good game.
really cool I like the way resources are settlement specific rather than global. and the different factions are feel surprisingly different, was expecting them to be the same faction but reskinned the turnbased battle made me nostalgic for older strategy games
Pretty alright first game, like the artstyle and the Kursians are pretty neat, the map is pretty big and the game at first seems pretty simple but it has some complexity if you look into it, would love to see it grow and stablish their own foot in the market as a nish indie game title
Complicated resource management but fun after you figure it out. Don't fall behind in unit tech or game gets hard. Building and upgrading are important. Addictive game!
Looks simple at first, but is more complicated than it first seems. It reminds me of the old QQP games in the 1990s which had somewhat crude graphics , quirky interfaces, yet well thought out gameplay.
If you enjoy this type of game, you will probably like this one. Buy it on sale. I was using auto battle and lost my city after about 6-7 battles (I tried to conquer a bandit city and lost much of my army). There is a bit of a learning curve. The info is there, but the "tutorial" doesn't hold your hand. I would suggest planting some crops before building up the city population, I failed to do that. Grab the nearby town, but hold off on offensive and play defense in the beginning.
It's pretty cool! Got surprised by the difficulty, and I like the challenging and pretty cool resource management of transporting from settlement to settlement
I really like this game and it is rather cheap. Haven't tried it on my steam deck yet but plan to do so will update after I try. I will say however can you please add a short tutorial as I am a bit confused so far. I am sure I will figure it out with enough time but a tutorial would be nice!
