Europa Universalis: Rome - Gold Edition

I recently decided to give a chance to this game and I was greatly impressed actually, so I decided to write a review for those who do not know if the game is worth to play. In summary, this is a really solid 2000's strategy game. For veteran Paradox grand strategy players who played CK2 and 3 and Europa Universalis 3 and 4, this game would be very familiar. It is overall a very simplified version of EU4 with some elements from Crusader Kings, which in my opinion it is ideal for new players and newcomers to this series of games, if you can accept the older graphics and UI and also a far less polished version of a grand strategy title. The game works overall as a board game, where each player takes control of a country, at any date from 270 to 30 BCE (the rise of Rome and the conquest of the Mediterranean). You manage the politics, warfare, trade and diplomacy in way slower and a far more simplified way than most Paradox games. It is a more casual strategy board-like game, yet very enjoyable today for a 2008 title. Even if the game has a modern sequel in Imperator:Rome, it is still a solid choice and worth the price to enjoy the early 2000's aesthetycs in a classic old strategy game.

Anybody else have this game, but reading as *really* way too small, as in 7 bits? I simply want to know if that's the case and how to solve this quirky situation... because that's just plain weird!
