Experienced on the Oculus Rift with Touch Controllers
Do not sleep on this game. This is probably one of the most criminally underappreciated VR hidden gems. Playing this game is an absolute delight. I never thought a climbing / platforming / light puzzle game could be this relaxing to play. There is so much beauty all around and there's this accomplishing, yet chill aspect to the adventure. It's taken me about 2 hours to finish the tutorial and the first biome. There are still 3 biomes left, each with 5 levels. Each biome has its own theme. The first one is the rainforest, the second is the fire level, I believe the third is the snow, and the final one I believe is the desert/ground. You do get a preview of them in the tutorial and you learn the basic mechanics. Unlike other climbing games, you're not going to be stressing out or get your sweat going. You can actually easily jump up the ledges and then just grab on to them and rinse and repeat. And unlike other climbing games, you don't need to physically jump or pretend to jump, it's just a button press. If you eat a fruit you can double jump. If you eat a mushroom then you can go on a different kind of trip. Not only are you jumping and climbing, but you're also rapelling in between floating rocks or falling down a waterfall or sliding down the ice. You'll be also be going underwater with a flashlight attached to your head. You do have free locomotion + teleportation jumps and although you don't have smooth turning, you can snap turn to the location of where your controller is pointing by going to your options settings, otherwise the turn is 180 I believe. There's a story to go along with your traversal. It's told through little sign posts that are in a foreign pictographic language, but once you get up close you can actually read it. There's day and night time environments. There's chill music in the background and beautiful landscapes all around. You're basically going on an adventure of both discovery and self-discovery. Rate 8/10. I actually got this on sale for $3.49 USD during the Steam summer sale and I'm 100% sure that was the biggest steal on that sale. This game is easily worth full retail price. Buy this game and if you agree with my opinion then please join my curated group, Oculus Rift Reviews on Steam.

I was not expecting much going into this one but the game is awesome. The closest comparisons I can think of are games like To The Top and Climbey. Etherian has much better visuals though, AND there are actual puzzles. WINNER! The oooonly thing that bugged me was toward the end of my video I finally died and had ZERO checkpoints to fall back to. I literally had to not only re-do the entire course but also had to re-do the puzzles! A dev informed me that more checkpoints will appear in the future. Great game if you like atmospheric puzzles. Nothing too challening, but enough beautiful and engaging content that I've already done apparently 6 hours.
Played on Oculus Rift w/ Touch. Fully enjoyable even in early access form. There's 4 "trainer" levels and 4 "full" levels, 1 in each of the 4 biomes. Environments are detailed, crisp, and beautiful. One might say a bit ethereal :) And still played very smoothly on GTX 1070. Decent mix of user interactions incl explore, jump, climb, "powerups", and some light puzzling. Climbing had a good firm feel unlike the many games that include it as a token element.
+Platformer +Fun +Challenging +Even after release Dev hasn't forgotten about it +Decent price for content 5/5 This is a great, very well made, whimsical platformer. I honestly don't see anything wrong with it and would recommend picking it up. It's a fun/entertaining game. This is a fun adventure game! If you liked Cloudborn or any of the climbing games, you'll probably like this, though there's more to it.
Good basic VR adventure game with reasonable price for content quality. Controls are clunky and unrefined. Camera lock from sliding on ice slope gave me instant headache. Jumping while on moving platform causes unpredictable, unnatural momentum. So uncomfortable I had to refund.
I'm in love with this game. Great climbing mechanics, beautiful world, great music and ambiance. I have only played the first world our of five so far so I can't speak for the rest of the game but I will definitely keep playing. I'm guessing this game has at least 5 hours of content if not more which is great for a VR game and much more than what I was expecting. This game deserves more love. I highly recommend it.
So, this game is not well-known because it's only on PCVR not Meta Store, but it's one of the most breathtaking puzzle/adventure games in VR, along with Xing. Lots of "wow" moments to be had here - the fantasy-setting graphics are so immersive and inviting, more than any VR title I've ever played to be honest.
