Eternity: The Last Unicorn

Very challenging gameplay! But this game has its own spirit and I love it! This game it's a bomb! This game will blow your brains! Hardcore gameplay - just perfect, Sound - just fantastic, Graphics - looks pretty cool (for 2018 year), Camera - it's an old school thing. A very interesting storyline, and the characters looks and feels very interesting as well. There is also a high level of replayability of the levels. I give it 8.5 out of 10 points. Great game!

*shrug* I kinda like it. It's no masterpiece but I like how it feels like a lost PS2 game from 2002. It's got a lot of problems that I recognize and most of the other reviews cover those too. At the end of the day though, I was enjoying what I was playing. Maybe it falls apart farther in. I wouldn't pay full price for it but it looks like it goes for super cheap on sale pretty regularly.

There are better things you can do with your money. Eternity The Last Unicorn is basically an old school combat driven explorer puzzle game where you do mostly fighting, light puzzling, and experience some basic unvoiced storytelling. Sounds fine right? Sure, but the combat isn't that fun. In the beginning, you REALLY need to dodge and place your attacks well, again, sounds fine, but enemies can end you fairly quickly right at the start. With minimal items, it's not a great experience. Moreso, the rune item type is very expensive, so much so that you'd think they were permanent bonuses. Over time, you'll unlock the ability to upgrade your weapons, and you'll find items that upgrade your maximum health. This does make the game easier, but I'd compare it to pouring your favorite topping on your least favorite food. Some hot sauce isn't going to help it as much as it needs. Even further in, you'll unlock another weapon for both characters. Sounds good again right? This weapon is mainly for removing the "Invincible until you hit me with THAT weapon" mechanic. Turning what used to be bad Dynasty Warriors combat spam, into a staggering, throttled experience of trying to hit practically invincible enemies instead of the standard fodder. I say practically invincible because if you use your stored "ultimate move" it deals damage to them, if you can defeat them with that, it'll save you the trouble, but it takes defeating enemies or sustaining damage to charge. It's an option. The elf character can break this invincible aura with one shot, however, the warrior needs 3 hits of his slow unwieldy weapon to do the same. The story is pretty bare. So you're essentially suffering through the above to get what would otherwise be a text based generic fan fiction, more like a template for you to add details yourself so it isn't that bad. At the end of the day it feels like those old unity asset early access games that "just need a little more funding" to be better, but it's an unreal engine game. It usually doesn't. But hey, relatively easy achievements I guess. Though I'm sure there are much better games ,or much cheaper games to do this with.

From the trailer you can see that the game is a bit of a MEME however... I didn't expect the game to get bad with each progress I made in the story, the game gets terribly BAD as you progress, there is nothing good that make the player want to continue exploring or continue the game's story, I could mention the countless problems that this game has, but it would be a HUGE list... so I'll leave mine here I DO NOT RECOMMEND YOU BUY THIS GAME, SPEND YOUR MONEY ON OTHER GAME! I'm almost at the end of the game, I'm going to finish the game and uninstall it right away, XD XD XD XD XD XD I'M TILT MAN???!!!!
