please play this advace wars clone... please... i need someone to play with
A deceptively simple looking game but..very well designed and more importantly a very good A.I. Since its turn based take as long as you like . Put the A.I. on hard with shroud and unless your another Bobby Fisher be prepared to become a cheese eating surrender monkey . I have not tried multi yet but it appears simultaneous turns is an option . After playing for several hours I would say the game , which I played on a skirmish random XL map with shroud , is more related to one of the original computer war games Empire than Advanced wars . You do charge up your "special ability " like in Advance but on a long sprawling game I find production AND the ability to project your forces reminds me of those huge multi session Empire games . Multiplayer with other skilled H.I. would be a real knockdown drag out duel .
Since I played Advance Wars I wanted something similar for PC. With this game, I finally found it. Of course, it is not the same (units like tanks have actual range and there is base building), but I truly appreciate the changes to gameplay. Just like another review said: Command & Conquer meets Advance Wars. Thumbs up.
This game is a hidden gem. A true strategy. I was tired from RTS, because of the constant hurry. Now I have everything I need. It deserves more attention. Devs did a really great job. - PVP feels dynamic and intense. - There are several Campaigns with a variety of tactical situations. - The combat feels polished and balanced. Every aspect of it. Strong oldschool feeling. If you spent childhood with Red Alert 2 you'll love this game. Pure joy. I truly recommend it.
It's Command and Conquer mixed with Advance Wars. What more could you wish for?
Been playing war games since the 80'S and I must say this is in one of my top game to play worth every penny a must buy 10 out of 10 DEV......Luv it
Hi everyone, KaneNOD here! I bought the game to help the developer, even though I was participating in the project. I hope you grow a lot and I hope this is the first of dozens of games on Steam. Thank you for your commitment and dedication. -- Just vote this game to the game of the year, cuz I help to build it! For me it's an awesome game, dudes!!
I have been dabbling in this game for a few years now and I have watched it develop and improve with the developer happy to listen and take on boards ideas and suggestions. Whilst it easy to describe it as a turn based Command and Conquer it is more than that and what is important about it is that it is simply great fun. Different game modes cater for your mood- you can battle through the various campaigns (which vary in challenge from winning through sheer force to more subtle and stealth scenarios), fight off waves of enemies in the invasion mode or conquer the world in huge skirmishes against an impressive AI which cannot be bargained with and which has had me on the ropes more than once when I let my guard down. The graphics are fun, the selection of units is interesting and all for a bargain price. What more do you want?
