About
Explore the seemingly infinite expanse of eerily familiar levels in backrooms based on the popular creepypasta lore. Each level features different ways to escape with dangers along the way.

Realistic graphics, minimal user interfaces, and dreary ambience combine for an atmospheric horror experience that's terrified millions of players on Steam.

Explore the backrooms with a team of up to 4 players. Good luck: teammates may no-clip into other areas of the map and every member of your team must reach the exit alive to escape. No wanderer left behind.

Traverse 30+ unique levels based on backrooms lore. Don't wander far from your team, as you can easily get lost in the confusing expanse of the backrooms.

Check every corner for the many hostile entities lurking inside the backrooms. Each has their own mechanics. Learn quickly if you want to survive the horror.
Communicate with your teammates with proximity voice chat. Entities can also hear you, so stay quiet whenever you're near danger.

Definitely not the greatest game to ever be made by a Youtube developer. After attempting to play this with friends twice, we found that the levels got progressively less intuitive. A few points I want to suggest: * Items are extremely scarce. When you don't know what you're doing, you're going to die a lot. And unfortunately the almond water is extremely sparse when you have four people playing together. I think this could reasonably be fixed with a setting to keep your inventory after death. * The game's puzzles aren't really puzzles. In most games, even in horror games, there is usually some kind of hint as to what is needed to be done. When my friends and I got to the hotel floor with the moths and such, we spent more time trying to figure out what to do with the items we got than actually enjoying playing together. Same can be said about the second level with the dogs: there isn't a good way to figure out if you flipped all the levers without running all the way back to the start to check. After playing the game for so long trying to understand what we were expected to do, we gave up and pulled out a guide so we wouldn't be totally in the dark. Would be nice if there was an easier way to see the objective/progress made toward it so you aren't constantly guessing. * The enemies don't feel intuitive. Okay, I get that this is a survival horror game. Cool. Would have zero issue dying and learning the hard way if we didn't lose all our items every time we died. If the developer made it possible to die without losing all your accumulated tools and equipment, I think my friends and I would have had more fun exploring and learning how the enemies/environments worked. Instead, we audibly groaned every time we finished a level and prayed we wouldn't have any aggressive enemies to run from after. Game could be fun if you already know what's going on and how to play it. Not a great way to spend a Saturday night with friends if you're all going in blind like we were. A few small tweaks could really improve it, even if it's optional fixes.
this game is only fun before you memorize the levels(they arent procederally generated took me about 3 full runs) the last trophy is basically impossible if you are a normal human it has like 20-25 hours of content.

lost my progress but its ok
Can't get coop to work after over an hour trying. Installed on Xbox and couldn't get that to work, Read that a lot of people had trouble there. Bought a 2nd copy on PC and couldn't get that to work, Server codes freeze every time. Invite does nothing. It never joins the lobby in game. Very frustrating experience. Now I'm out my time and $10 and have a disappointed kid I can't play with.
Bunch of levels and fun with friends
