Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.

About
Escape Simulator 2 is the sequel to the best-selling escape room game. With immersive new environments, deeper puzzles, and innovative builder tools, it’s the ultimate first person escape room experience.

Explore new locations crafted with the help of escape room experts and legendary community builders. Each room pack contains four rooms filled with intricate puzzles and hidden mysteries:
Dracula’s Castle: Step into the shadowy fortress, uncover its secrets, and free the town from a dark curse.
Starship EOS: An exploration vessel is stranded after a collision, forcing you to retrieve an energy source from a mysterious dark sphere.
The Cursed Treasure: Follow a cryptic map to a pirate island, overcome treacherous trials, and claim the ancient treasure.
With more content coming soon after the release!

The game is designed for both solo play and multiplayer with friends. Up to 8 players can join together online, with built-in voice and text chat for easy puzzle-solving communication.

When you step into Escape Simulator 2, we want it to feel like you’re walking into a real-life escape room. Every detail is designed for interactivity—you can pick up and examine objects, wipe away dirt, drive vehicles, take a seat wherever you like, and move anything that’s not bolted down.

Create your dream escape rooms with the updated Room Editor 2.0! After seeing over 4,000 rooms built in the first game, we’ve made the tools even more powerful and intuitive. The new lighting engine makes your rooms look more like the official rooms, the Building Editor lets you design rooms (with working stairs!), and you can bring everything to life with Sequence animations.

Why a sequel?
A sequel gives us a fresh start and lets us push the limits of the genre further. We were inspired to explore darker escape room themes and experiment with new gameplay and puzzle ideas. Splitting from the original game let us focus on improving key features like rendering, networking, physics, and animations.
Will Escape Simulator still get updates?
Yes! With the recent Mayan DLC and more content on the way, we’ll continue supporting the original game while expanding its reach to new platforms.
Is it scary?
While Escape Simulator 2 is darker and has a more mysterious vibe, it’s not a horror game. The game also doesn’t feature any jump scares or gore.

We’d love to hear your thoughts and ideas for Escape Simulator 2! We ❤️ our amazing community of escapers, puzzle solvers, and builders, so feel free to share your ideas on Discord or email us at: community@pinestudio.com!

If I could give it an in-between score and not "yes" or "no", I would. ASIDE FROM THE BLATANT AI USAGE FOR "ART" its a solid game, puzzles are fun, even though some are so confusing, I still managed to get all trophies (with hints). Controls are a bit clunky, where I would inspect things that I didn't want to. I prefer the Escape Sim 1 characters, the realistic characters look uncanny but I played solo so I never saw the character much other than the picture at the end of each level. Overall; meh game, but still semi-positive because its fun OTHER THAN THE AI SLOP
A fantastic improvement on what was already a great game

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I had a great time overall and I think if you're a fan of escape rooms, this is definitely worth checking out. The main game consists of 3 different themes with 4 rooms each. I really liked that every room had its own story. It made each escape feel more immersive instead of just being a collection of random puzzles. The graphics are also a huge step up from the first game! The puzzles are noticeably different from the original game, which I appreciated. Most of them felt fresh and creative, although there were a few where the solutions didn't really make sense to me? Some of them I even ended up solving them through sheer luck rather than logic. One thing I do agree with from other reviews is that the co-op experience isn't as collaborative as I expected. I played with my partner, but we often ended up working on completely separate puzzles. There were several times where I'd finish a section and realize I had no idea what he had solved or how he solved it because we were essentially playing our own individual puzzles in the same room. The only shared collaboration we would have is "do you have this piece?" "have you seen something like this?" "I don't get this one, why don't you try it?" kind of thing. So if you're looking for a true teamwork escape room experience where EVERYONE is constantly communicating and solving the same puzzles together, this falls a little short. My biggest beef with the game is the extra content outside of the main rooms. The main lobby puzzles, the dark puzzle area, and the final art statue puzzle all felt more tedious than fun. Yes, they're optional and not counted towards anything, but I'm unfortunately a completionist. I completed them just because they were there, not because I was enjoying them. They felt like unnecessary padding compared to the quality of the actual escape rooms. Besides that, the core escape rooms are genuinely enjoyable and I'd love to see more games like this on Steam. There just aren't enough high-quality escape room games out there, so I was really excited to see Escape Simulator 2 come up. 好玩 适合两个人一起 一人解密和两人玩法也不一样 游戏也很新颖 不恐怖
比去玩密室逃脱有意思多了
I was really impressed with this game until I had to lookup the solution for the star keys and realised there was no possible way to discover these naturally without ardiously following a series of pointless tasks that required looking it up to make it work. Theres no clues anywhere about it that were discoverable. As a result I read too far and ruined the entire experience. Sucked every ounce of wonder out of the entire experience. I wish I hadnt wasted my time. Its still a great escape room game but I give it 2 out of 5. Minus 1 star for every uneccessary star key.
пойдет, понравилось P.S только разрубы прятуют шмотки в текстурах и можно не понять что делать в моменте - это минус дл мня
Mapas muy entretenidos sobre todo los primeros 4.
