Too much pixel hunting and most of the puzzles were tedious with a lot of traveling back and forth to locations an inventory or notetaking system would have helped. I hated only being able to pick up one item at a time and then having to put it down somewhere to get it off the screen. Chapter 4 was so infuriating that I had to find a walkthrough just to put me out of my misery. I didn't even care about the collectibles, and the hint mechanic was just clumps of shiny dots that don't give you any indication of what you need to do other than show you which areas you can search. It would have been nice to know what exactly I was supposed to find in each location where the hint dots gathered. You can brute force some of the puzzles if you have enough of the information, but most of the time they were frustrating. Overall, this game wasn't an enjoyable experience.
Disappointing Experience Compared to Other Games in the Series I have played several other games from this series before and was very impressed by them, which is exactly why I decided to buy this one. Unfortunately, this game was a big disappointment. Instead of being a proper puzzle-based escape game, it felt much more like a simple hidden-object search game. The focus was clearly on finding items rather than solving clever or engaging puzzles. The puzzles themselves were either completely trivial and boring or, on the other hand, unnecessarily difficult in a way that felt unfair and poorly designed. This imbalance quickly became frustrating and took away any sense of enjoyment or motivation to continue playing. Overall, this game does not live up to the quality of the other titles in the series, and I would not recommend it to fans expecting a thoughtful and well-balanced escape room experience
Good game, the inventory added in the later versions was really missed in this one
Eventually, puzzles became incoherent and unsolvable without looking up solutions online. Also, the "Hint" system, just scatters pixie dust over whatever puzzle you're working on, it doesn't actually help you out in anyway. Don't waste your money on this, instead, look for one of the multiple free puzzle games that exist that can ACTUALLY give you direction and help, this one won't, nor will ANY from this developer.
We got every collectables which are hidden by a ****** mf. Have fun finding them :D. Anyway, the game was really really fun. All riddles made sense despite what other comments say. We liked all of them. Chapter 4's challenge room was just math. 3 guys and we got this game because Excape Memoirs Mini Memories was amazing. All the gameplay issues like: not being able to read the same note together and etc. have been resolved. We are gonna move to First Class Excape 2. Probably when it is in sales again. I love your games @developers (if you ever read this)
A good date night game. Not too hard but and not too long. I nice evening game to play with another person. I wouldn't call it amazing but I would recommend for a friend.
Far to complicated, some puzzles don't explain much or you can not reset just awful.
Not as good as the other ones. I guess its still worth playing if you can get it very cheap, but prepare to be frustrated.
good one Also, thanks to the developers for the option to disable the train’s movement, because I started feeling nauseous pretty quickly...
yes, brain hurt
