Unfortunately, I can't give it a recommendation, even though I think the concept of the game, the atmosphere, the story and everything is so well thought out. Unfortunately, the game is totally ruined by the fact that no attention was paid to the time a player has. When I look at the level on the island with the forest, for example, and the fact that you have to do everything, find 30 hidden pages on that huge map for the book, collect 3 violas, collect blood for the ritual, etc., the whole thing is so extremely time-consuming for a single level. How long should it take you to complete a level? After all, I buy games to play them through and have fun with them. The option to save would really have been necessary here, because I feel that a level, unless you know it almost by heart, can hardly be completed in less than 4 hours. My first impression. Then having to stop at some point for personal reasons and start all over again the next day just makes the game crap.
A lot of opinions here about what value the game has. My issue is that there's short, and then there's "Wait, that's it?". This game feels like the latter. It has the makings of something awesome, but it feels like it stops before it even starts. I wish we'd see more use out of the cool world that's been built here. For now, it's no better than a tech demo.
dev is jumping games constantly to be honest, this game had a lot of potential.

NO, the devs seemed to have Abandoned this game and are still charging for it. They claimed to begin working on it again after their other game. Which is done supposedly. Where are the updates and communication?
If its for 2 Bucks definitly get it but any more than that is a hard ask! Innsmouth: Best Map in the Game, looks great and the thing with the bell makes it feel tense Sentinel: Worst Map its large and tedious with how aggressive the enemies are, it would be better if the map came with all the POI and Safepoints but with a timer (eg Nightfall) when the enemies get more aggressive. They also have great models but they are missing different behaviors. (eg Trees want to rush you down, Skinwalker stalks and then pounces on you etc.) Temple: I dont like it, feels like dead by daylight from wish, enemies are too aggressive The enviroment for ever Map is greatly made and the gameplay loop can work with some tweaks (better stealth, better combat, less glitchy enemy behavior, a way to stun enemies for a longer duration) but in its current state its good for a few laughs but sadly not more
I desperately want to see more updates for this game, because it really does seem like there'd be a lot of potential- and the time I spent with it was pretty fun. The stealth elements aren't bad- and in the expansive island map, there's a decent amount to do, even if it was a bit frustrating with only 1 co-op partner. Unfortunately, it's been a substantial amount of time since any sort of update or patch was last implemented, so enjoying a more fleshed out experience seems to be a pipe dream at this juncture. And that also means, as much fun as it is to sink your teeth into a given map can be, there isn't that much longevity to the experience. This review will be updated if matters change, because this is something I'm excited to engage with if things change.
I don't recommend this game sadly. The forest map is too large imo in comparison to the other two, and the constant need of collecting items made it boring for me and my mates fast tbh; it would've been more interesting if this game had puzzles too that contributed to the gameplay, and if each map was completely different to each other (gameplay-wise). The whole reviving teammates through wax statues too was a bit meh, and if you ran out or couldn't find another in time, meant restarting over and over. Would've been easier imo if those cursed ritual sites around the map contributed in a way to reviving teammates, but at a sacrifice-sorta thing (maybe to the oil or a page or two). Besides the forest map, the other two took less than 30 minutes for us, whilst the forest took over 2 and a half hours due to its size... bit ridiculous. Also found it a bit boring that you couldn't spectate your teammates if you died But yea, that's my take on this game. With the book and forest map tbh, it felt like I was playing slender. I do think this game had its potential, but never quite reached that boundary line.
I mean i like the game. Its not bad but being mainly a 4 player co op experience, theirs no one playing so that ruff. There is signal player mode its fun i do like it , you get lost in this dark world of Lovecraft. also i mean I payed 3 dollars that not bad weather you like or not basically noways
Well I though it was a story game.
